Huge Ogre Cache in 2024?
Today, I want to share the sales reports for Huge Ogre Cache, which I achieved in two three-month periods. I bought these Cache when their values were low and waited for significant events to occur, which helped me to generate substantial profits.
Nonetheless, if you prefer, you can also sell them immediately and still get a good value for your investment. I’ve added several factors and limitations to consider, as well as the benefits of arbitrage with Cross-Realm Trading and the best events to watch out for.

What is a Huge Ogre Cache?
The Huge Ogre Cache is a highly sought-after item that became available during the expansion of Warlords of Draenor (WoD) in World of Warcraft. It gave the player an alternative means to earn Garrison Resources, ultimately boosting their progress when developing their Garrison.
How to get Huge Ogre Cache:
There are two methods to earn a Huge Ogre Cache. You can complete the mission from the Garrison Mission Table, Ogrecoming Adversity. This rare mission is available once you have enough followers with the appropriate item level. Alternatively, you can purchase Cache from the Auction House. Due to the valuations being different in both regions, I’ve separated them below!
Huge Ogre Cache Median value on the E.U. Region!
The Median Value is approximately 3.6k gold in the E.U. region. However, use the Undermine Exchange (formerly Oribos Exchange/Undermine Journal) to see the value in your realm, which could be considerably cheaper or expensive.
As you can see in the image below, we have a considerable amount on E.U. that appears to have driven down its Median value. Expect this to increase when the supply decreases and the demand increases! Searching for profitable realms can still net you sales in 5-6.5k gold each!

Huge Ogre Cache Median Value on the U.S. Region!
The Median Value is approximately 6.5k gold in the U.S. region. However, use the Undermine Exchange (formerly Oribos Exchange/Undermine Journal) to see the value in your realm, which could be considerably cheaper or expensive.
With only 1955 available in the U.S. region, you can see why it demands a greater value than its counterpart, the E.U!

Arbitrage and Cross-Realm Trading:
Arbitrage with Cross-Realm Trading in World of Warcraft can be highly profitable. The most significant advantage is buying and selling items at different prices in different realms; this means that you can purchase an item in one realm where it is cheaper and then sell it in another realm where it is more expensive, allowing you to profit from the price difference between the two realms.
Another benefit is that Cross-Realm Trading allows you to access a larger market of buyers and sellers; this means that you can potentially find a buyer for an item you may not have been able to sell in your realm. Additionally, it can also allow you to find items that are not available in your realm, which can be very useful for completing quests or crafting items.
Arbitrage with Cross-Realm Trading in World of Warcraft can be a great way to make gold and expand your trading opportunities. However, it requires knowledge and research to ensure you buy and sell items at the correct prices and in the best realms. I recommend the Undermine Exchange (formerly Oribos Exchange/Undermine Journal) for the best pricing data.
Undervalued Huge Ogre Cache on E.U Region!
If you’re one of my readers on my Facebook page, you’ll be aware of a post I shared regarding the cheap Huge Ogre Cache posted on one of the realms I play on. Today, someone has posted 734 at 2.1k each! Using Arbitrage and Cross-Realm trading, you can purchase some of these and trade them on alternative realms for profit.

Garrison Resources?
Garrison Resources are a vital currency for leveling your Garrison, constructing buildings, and beginning missions from the Garrison Mission Table. However, earning Garrison Resources by completing open-world quests, missions, and the Garrison Resource Stockpile was tediously long, ultimately timegating your Garrisons progress.
Thankfully, in patch 6.2, Blizzard introduced the Huge Ogre Cache, which gave players an alternative means of earning Garrison Resources at an increased rate. Each Cache gave the player 1,000 Garrison Resources. This opportunity now gave players the ability to power-level their Garrisons.
The Garrison at level 3 allows us to create level 3 buildings, with potential gold-making activities and the opportunity to receive daily quests during holiday events, none more so than during the Holiday Event, Feast of Winter Veil. We also get access to increased bank storage, an increase in profession Work Order capacity, and access to the level 3 Menagerie.

Limitations:
Please remember that you can only have a maximum of 10,000 Garrison Resources within your Currency tab. However, there’s no limit to how many Huge Ogre Caches you can have in your inventory. Using a Huge Ogre Cache while exceeding the 10,000 Garrison Resource limit will result in you losing Garrison Resources above this limitation.
If you’re using a Huge Ogre Cache to increase the level of your Garrison to level 3, ensure you meet the player’s level restriction of level 40 first!
Huge Ogre Cache 3 Month Sales Report:
Here’s a summary of my sales from the 1st of November, 2023, to the 1st of February, 2024. You’ll notice the increase in demand for Huge Ogre Cache on specific dates. These were because of the WoD Timewalking Event, the Holiday Event, and the Feast of Winter Veil. Using this data, you can prepare for these events in 2024!

While the selected dates are for the last three months, it doesn’t calculate the Huge Ogre Cache purchased prior. It would be unfair not to add that. So, for complete transparency, the average price paid for 1998 is 2.2k gold. I’ve added an adjusted profit below in brackets (*).
- Purchases: 501 Huge Ogre Cache for 1,143,026 gold. (2,281 gold each)
- Sales: 1998 Huge Ogre Cache for 9,457,782 gold. (4,733 gold each)
- Profit: 8,314,755 gold. (* adjusted profit: 5,062,182 gold)
Huge Ogre Cache Sales mid 2024!
My results from the 1st of April 2024 to the 8th of July 2024 show a dramatic increase in investment for Huge Ogre Cache. While I lost 580k gold, you’ll notice I sold 929 for 5.5m gold (5.9k gold each). Furthermore, I also invested 6.1m gold (2.4k gold each) for 2532 Huge Ogre Cache!

MoP Remix and the Huge Ogre Cache!
Midway through August, players who played MoP Remix will have their character(s) repopulated on the selected realms; this means they will no longer be restricted to content strictly for MoP Remix—Mists of Pandaria.
Ultimately, players will be free to complete alternative content throughout World of Warcraft, notably Warlords of Draenor and Garrisons. There will likely be an increased demand for Huge Ogre Cache for players looking to power-level their Garrisons that leveled via MoP Remix. After all, there are notable benefits for professions and level 3 Menagerie within Garrisons!
I’m undertaking a big gamble, one I can afford to take but one I know will pay off in the long run. For the two three-month periods I shared above, I’ve sold over 3000 Huge Ogre Caches, so there’s no doubt that by this Christmas/New Year, I’ll have sold a considerable amount of that investment!
