Week Four Sales & Catch Up!

Welcome to my fourth installment, looking back on my sales and activity from the previous week; week ending 20.11.17. It’s been a very start & stop week to be fair; finished decorating my daughter’s bedroom on Friday and celebrated her 15th Birthday Saturday. This mean’t I missed posting auctions on Friday night through to Saturday afternoon, but I’m not too concerned. However, I think I managed very well considering.

This weeks stats:

Last weeks total: 90.5m
Gold Balance prior to opening mail: 83.6m
Total invested: 6.9m

Catch Up

For the last 2 weeks, I’ve been planning on transferring 2 alts to my main realm and this week, I finally completed the Guild transfers. Sadly, they only successfully moved on Saturday evening (taking advantage of the time away from game) meaning I only got one, possibly two days of auctions. However, I didn’t let this deter me, I’ve invested approximately 3-4m gold worth of items at approximately 25-50%  value of the destination realm, so i could at minimum, double my investment; which would later pay for the Guild transfers themselves.

If you’re planning on doing a transfer and interested in doing the same method, please do take advantage of The Undermine Journal. This is a fantastic site, that gives you the opportunity to search for items and compare prices from one realm to another. The items I look for, are items I can buy at maximum 50% the value of my destination realm. So great investments are current expansion materials (i.e. ore, herbs, cooking ingredients and profession reagents). Also worth noting, Toys, Mounts, Transmog, Legion BoEs & Battle Pets (must cage before transferring realm!)

I’ve also continued with my investments on the profession front. Antorus is only a week away and my guild banks are bulging with Enchants, Food and consumables. I’ve managed to purchase some very nice cheap Legion BoEs (Leech) too, but my aim from today, is to slowly reduce investing in this market. I don’t want a repeat of WoD and being left with a lot of BoEs that are worthless come the new expansion. This is solely based on my inventory, not an boasting, but it’s huge and it needs to be reduced! So unless I see an incredible bargain too good to refuse, my purchases within the Legion BoE market will dramatically stop!

Had to buy another 3x WoWTokens @285k each, due to gold cap reached again on an alt.

Sales

Here’s a selection of my sales. As you can see, I’ve managed to sell a lot of high ilvl Legion BoEs this week, averaging the 500k mark for each.

All that’s left to show, is my totals for each account…

Had I not needed to buy the 3 WoWTokens, I’d have surpassed the 100m gold mark this week. But I can happily wait till next week.

Totals:

End of week sales total: 99.4m
End of week profit total: 15.8m

Week Three Sales & Catch Up

Welcome to my third installment of my sales and catch up blog, looking back on the previous week (week ending 13/11/17). Also apologies for posting one day late, had some issues at home, which needed sorting prior to publishing this blog.

Catch Up

This week I continued my investments in Legion BoEs, Toy Box and Battle Pet markets.  I managed to buy 11 Sylvanas’ Music Box’s for 15k each; continued my efforts purchasing cheap Naxxy’s in readiness for the drop in competition and increased demand, once players return for the new raid Antorus.

I also power leveled a lot of my Professions on my alts, buying up cheap raw materials with the interest of crafting Transmog, Item Enhancements and consumables to prepare for Antorus. It’s going to be super busy once the raid opens and a lot of people will need flasks, food, Enchants and Gems

With the release of Destiny 2 and the Blizzcon Virtual Ticket a glimpse of the past, I took advantage of the fall in price on EU wowtokens too, purchasing another 10 for a total of 2.85m.

With the changes to Cataclysm rare spawn times, I’ve also created another alt, with 650 Tailoring and Jewelcrafting, in an attempt to finally get my hands on either the Rhinestone Sunglasses recipe, or the High Society Top Hat recipe. A guide regarding farming these recipes can be found HERE – Credit: Medapaw.

My total investment for last week totaled 8m gold, leaving me a liquid gold balance of: 78.39m prior to opening my mail today!

Week Two Sales & Catch Up!

Catch up
Many of you would’ve seen on Twitter, that I’ve been heavily investing on all my realms this week! I’m pretty sure a lot of my competition, that I’m normally competing with, have been otherwise engaged, maybe due to BlizzCon, who knows. I’m predicting my profit margins will take a massive hit this weekend. Last week my total liquid gold balance finished at 78.56m gold and before opening my sales today, my total liquid gold was down to 68.8m gold, which means I’ve currently invested 9.76m gold this week!

The markets I’ve been mainly concentrating on are Legion 101 BoEs, Mounts, Toys and Battle Pets. With the conclusion of the event: Hallows End, I’ve been mainly buying up cheap Naxxy’s! I think I’ve managed to purchase approximately 30 at the time of this post. Most of these have been purchased on high pop realms between 55-60k each. My aim is to store these away (unless the market permits me otherwise) and in a couple of Months time, start selling them on all my realms. Naxxy’s are currently hitting the 85-110k mark on some of my low pop servers, but the AH seems saturated with them at the moment. I’ll patiently wait for the competition to go down, then swoop in, when the demand for them picks up!

I have 2 characters I have in mind for a Guild transfer this week, hence why I’ve put a lot of emphasis investing this week. Using The Undermine Journal I’ve managed to purchase a lot of items I know I can flip for a profit on my target realm.

Sales for 06.11.17

Here’s a look at my totals on my 3 accounts for this week: Totalling 84.8m gold.

Before opening my mail, my gold balance was sitting at 68.8m and now it’s back up to 84.8m, meaning I totalled 16m in sales last week. This is my highest return in a week, since becoming a gold maker. Below I’ve added a selection of the sales from the realms I play on.

Demar’s Band of Amore – 237k

That’s all for this week, be sure to check out next week and see if I can beat the 16m made last week! Thanks for reading!

Week One Sales & Catch Up!

Good evening guys and welcome to my weekly blog; looking back at my sales for the week ending (30.10.17). I hope you enjoy this, and maybe find some ideas for alternative markets to get involved in.

It’s been another great week as a crafty Goblin, managing to hit gold cap again on another alt realm. Sadly… the lack of a Guild bank, meant I spent 2.9m on 10 wowtokens (290k each), so I could loot the remaining gold from my mailbox. These tokens have raised my Blizzard balance back up to cap (£200). I have future plans to transfer some alts to pastures new, so the balance will go to good use.

Here’s a summary of the liquid gold I currently own on my 3 accounts. The 2.9m for tokens has already been subtracted from the total. (Addons used: Altoholic, TSM3)

The grand total is 78.56m, this is an increase of 2m (5m if you include the 2.9m above) since the 16th October, from my last review on Twitter. Below is a collection of my sales from many of the realms I operate on. I hope this format is easier on the eyes, than my previous posts on Twitter. I’d happily agree that 15-20 posts in one day, condensed to one blog post is definitely easier on my eyes!

As you can see, my main markets are Legion BoEs and Battle Pets. These are easy markets to get involved in for me. The BoEs are currently in high demand, due to level 101 twinks and Battle Pets offer great versatility, basically because of the ease of transferring them to low populated servers for insane profits.

Please do remember that I play on E.U and Battle Pet prices are far greater in value, than those on U.S. realms.

I also dabble in Transmog and Profession crafts too, but the inability to run cancel scans regular, mean my sales are very low. These can be very profitable markets if you have the time and patience to cancel and re-post often; thus meaning your auctions are always at the top. Take advantage of raid days too, this is when I try and log in on my main and take advantage of those raiders looking for consumables etc.

If you know me well, you know I don’t farm anything anymore, well…  you could suggest I farm the Auction House LOL!! Whatever I sell, you can bet your bottom dollar that it originated from the Auction House. I buy at a maximum of 50% it’s value and aim to sell at a min 105% it’s value. This is just a rule of thumb, so it makes it easier to track my profit. TSM3 accounting is unable to track individual ilvls and different stats on items for Legion BoEs, so this is the quickest alternative for me. I used to have a bog standard spreadsheet covering purchases and sales, but it got too time consuming!

Here’s some highlighted sales, in no particular order:

Eyasu’s Mulligan – 237k
Treia’s Handcrafted Shroud – 237k
Sash of the Unredeemed – 336k
Cyno’s Mantle of Sin – 356k
Talisman of Jaimil Lightheart – 242k
Geta of Tay’Shute – 356k

Some excellent flips, if you follow the rule of thumb explained above.

Before I finish, may I take this opportunity to remind you of the awesome news recently revealed, that TSM4 is on the horizon! If you’ve not used TSM up to this point, don’t threat, there’s no time like the present! Check out this great article on TSM4 HERE and see how you can get early access in late November. Gumdrops, who is a familiar face on woweconomy, is also part of the TSM team. He also streams on Twitch and offers many Q&A TSM streams, so if you’re looking for advice, check him out – he’s an awesome gold-maker too!

Until next week, thanks for reading…
