Exciting News: Bronze & Thread increases in MoP Remix!
Today, Blizzard has decided to increase the Bronze, Spools of Thread, and Emperor Shaohao’s reputation gains for MoP Remix. While these increases don’t have a direct effect on my main character, these changes will be of interest to you and alts!

Timerunner’s Mastery:
Timerunner’s Mastery is a new buff that increases Bronze from caches by 100% and the Spool of Threads by 200%.
Bronze:
Bronze caches will have their values increased by 100%; this means that players still looking at acquiring collectibles or increasing their item level (via the upgrade NPC) will have an efficient time reaching an average item level of 476!
Confirmation of the Bronze increases below.
- Minor Bronze Cache (250 → 500)
- Lesser Bronze Cache (500 → 1000)
- Bronze Cache (750 → 1500)
- Greater Bronze Cache (1250 → 2500)
Spools of Threads:
Blizzard has also added a buff to Spools of Threads, increasing values by 200%! These changes will increase stat gains for your Infinite Cloak, thus exponentially increasing your power quicker.
Confirmation of the Spools of Thread increases below.
- Minor Spool of Eternal Thread (20 → 60)
- Lesser Spool of Eternal Thread (50 → 150)
- Spool of Eternal Thread (100 → 300)
- Greater Spool of Eternal Thread (180 → 540)
Emperor Shaohao’s Reputation:
Thankfully, Blizzard has noted concerns from players about the appalling reputation gains for Emperor Shaohao on the Timeless Isle. They have increased the reputation gains by 700%! For players that have just started or felt it was a chore, it’s worthwhile doing now!
Conclusion:
These changes Blizzard introduced today are reassuring, ensuring they’re still monitoring our feedback. While I understand Bronze prices are still high to upgrade your gear, these additions make it easier and quicker to reach!
There will likely be further changes as the event gets closer to its end. Don’t worry; today (13.06.2024), there are still 67 days of MoP Remix. That’s ample time to earn all your collectibles and reach the average ilvl of 476!
