I’m In Awe Of TSM4 BETA

It’s been a very chaotic few weeks, so I’ve not blogged much up until today. I’m currently sorting out my new website, which will go into greater detail of my day to day activities concerning gold-making in World of Warcraft. Added to this, I recently got invited to the new TSM 4.10 BETA wave, and (to rub salt in the wounds), I inadvertently got invited to Shadowlands BETA too. I hope to have the new website up and running in the next week or so. Due to time restraints, I cannot participate in the Shadowlands BETA, but I’ve decided to take advantage of TSM’s 4.10 Beta instead, as reviewed below.

TSM4.10 BETA

Themes, Dashboard & Ledger:

TSM BETA BLOG

As soon as you’ve successfully installed and loaded up the game, the first thing you’ll notice is the new sleek look of TSM. Within the settings (Appearance), we can customize this further by changing the themes; this, in my opinion, is an excellent addition. Some of the colors appear strange, but this could be my filters within the game, as I’m colorblind. As you’ll see above, the graph is a lot easier on the eyes, and from what I’ve read up, the information obtained for the dashboard and ledger is a lot more accurate now than the previous TSM version. We can change the timeframe within the graphs, to give us a detailed look at our profit and losses.

Opinion: Excellent addition. Even with colorblindness, some of the themes are excellent. Tell me a gold-maker that doesn’t want to see graphs outlining their progress!

Groups, Operations & Search Feature:

TSM BETA BLOG 1

When creating a new group and searching for items, it’s never been easier. We can effortlessly move and adjust our groups, and the new base group gives us the ability to search for new items by inputting search conditions into the box, as I’ve highlighted above. For example purposes, I used the search function to look for Battle Pets. As you can see, this returned all the battle pets I currently don’t have assigned to a group.

Adding and adjusting operations to groups is a lot easier too. We now get a search box pop-up when adding or changing operations to a group. Instead of needlessly scrolling through all the operations, we can use the search function instead and promptly assign an operation we desire. If you head over to the operations tab, you will also see all the groups assigned to a given operation.

Opinion: As I’m sure you’re aware, I love creating groups with plenty of sub-groups, the ability to keep them up-to-date by adding new items when added to the game, will no doubt be a game-changer. The ease of doing all this will allow many to create their very own profiles!

Shopping & TSM Sniper:

Browsing the Auction House has also had some improvements. The ability to pause and purchase items during a scan, so you don’t miss out on lucrative deals now. We also have the addition to buy items in bulk. Again, as shown above, you can see on the right, we can now select buyout on items, and we’ll get a pop-up that allows us to buy a more significant quantity. Before TSM 4.10 this was only achievable via the wow’s default user interface.

You will also notice above that there’s a return of TSM Sniper. However, I’ve not used this myself yet! But I’m sure many will be happy with its return.

Opinion: For me, the most significant change was the ability to finally buy bulk quantities of items, without unnecessarily needing to use the wow ui instead. Others will undoubtedly rejoice at the return of sniper, and understandably so.

Change Log & Sources Explained

For a detailed summary of the changes with TSM 4.10 BETA please check out TSM’s change log.

With the addition of new price sources and the removal of (Use Smart Average), I urge anyone to check out TSM’s price source guides below. These will help you understand and maybe create your own price sources. Creating your own price sources will give you the edge on your competitors when posting your auctions on to the Auction House.

New complete Battle Pet Import String

Before I leave, I’d like to add, that the battle pet import string created/shared by @Billisonyxia on Twitter, has been updated by myself, by removing the non-existent common and uncommon battle pets within his list. I used warcraftpets to cross-reference the pets that weren’t obtainable. I have added this complete list to my Pastebin. Please can you show your support to Bilis, by checking out the links below to show your appreciation for the original content!

Original Import String: Reddit Post
BilisOnyxia’s Patreon

The update has every battle pet, sorted by;

  1. Rare
  2. Uncommon
  3. Common
  4. Grey (Ignored Variation) (Ignores level, breed & rarity)

Important: Please read first!

If you want to buy and sell pets based on their level and rarity, DO NOT assign operations to option 4: Grey (Ignored Variation) group. Instead, apply your operations to options 1, 2, 3.

If you have absolutely no interest in the pets level or rarity and want to flip it, assign operations to option 4: Grey (Ignored Variation) group and DO NOT apply operations to the first 3 options. Failure to follow these steps will incur issues when shopping and posting pets on the Auction House.

Further Clarification:
Option 4: These are the default pet item ID’s that will ignore level, breed, and rarity.

Please back-up your current profile before importing, in case of any issues. I have successfully imported this, with no issues. However, if you do experience any issues, or you would like to offer some feedback, please feel free to contact me: grahranswowgold@gmail.com and I will respond at the earliest convenience.

I hope you enjoyed this post. With any luck, you’ll hear from me again within the week, promoting my new website.

Profitable Profs (Part I) Enchanting

I’ve seen numerous Youtube videos over the past week from respectable GoldMakers regarding professions and how it’s an integral part of working the Auction House. With the extension of the [Winds of Wisdom] Buff for 100% experience, it’s never been a better time to churn out those crafted items for new players. If you’ve followed my blog, you’ll know a lot of my income comes from professions, none more so, than Enchanting. So today, I’ve decided to elaborate further on what I craft and why.

Enchanting

My main has been an Enchanter & Leatherworker since I first started playing the game back in Wrath of the Lich King, at this point I was raiding with a Horde Guild called Influx on Neptulon EU and enchanting was a very lucrative market back then and there were a lot of items you could enchant, unlike today! Thankfully, early reports suggest there will be a lot more items available to enchant upon the release of Shadowlands. Enchanting is an extremely versatile profession, in the case that disenchanting items not needed can net you a decent profit, by merely selling the materials straight on to the Auction House, or alternatively (in my case), craft important Enchants that can have a benefit to players.

Now I hear you ask, what’s the best enchants? Well given the current climate, leveling is a great place to start, so I’ve added a list of enchants below, that I’ve had a lot of success selling. This list will apply to players leveling, so these are great for applying to heirlooms. You’ll notice a lack of Mastery enchants, this is because Mastery doesn’t scale below the level 80.

Each item below is linked to Wowhead so you can check how it scales at a specific level.

Honorable Enchants…

These are Enchants that are used outside of Heirlooms that are worth mentioning. This is purely for players that wish to min/max their character’s stats or gathering ability. The items that these enchant to, will be replaced frequently, so personally, I don’t use these enchants, but others do. I’d suggest making one of each of these enchants and see how this market reacts to your realm.

Enchant Gloves – Riding Skill (Inc. mount speed by 2%)

Shoulder:
Enchant Shoulder – Boon of the Scavenger (Scavanged Cloth from Corpses (Legion))

Boots:
Enchant Boots – Minor Speed

Conclusion:

So there you have it, a list of Enchants I regularly post/sell on the Auction House aimed at players leveling new characters. If you fancy doing this market too, simply make a small amount, between 1-3 enchants of each enchant, and slowly increase your inventory, the more you sell. This way you don’t overstock and have greater amounts of those you sell often. As with all crafts, some sell quicker than others, some demand a greater price than others, trial and error, and of course patience is key.

Let me know how you get on or get in touch via Facebook or Twitter if you have any questions.

Best of luck…

The Warcraft Devs Listened!

Good afternoon guys, I was going to post this blog yesterday, but a number of things popped up that meant this post was slightly delayed, but have no fear, it comes with some epic news…

You Think You Do… And We Do Too!

As you’ve probably noticed already via Twitter, or in-game, the Warcraft Devs have listened to the pleas from the World of Warcraft community and have extended the ‘Winds of Wisdom‘ Buff. The buff will now be extended until the release of the Shadowlands pre-patch. You’d have read in my previous blog post, that Towelliee had hinted that the Devs may extend it if the COVID lockdown was extended, and given the friends he knows within Blizzard, I felt he maybe knew a little more than he was letting on.

winds of wisdom buff confirmation

Experience is Key, but so is Reputation…

Not only that, but the Devs also added another buff called, ‘Impressive Influence‘ until 18th May. As you’ll know, the ‘Winds of Wisdom‘ buff offers an experience gain of 100%, with the ‘Impressive Influence‘ buff, we also benefit from a reputation gain with factions within Legion and Battle for Azeroth expansion. Please be aware, that the Devs have excluded the Rajani and the Uldum Accord from the buff.

Below is an image from Wowhead outlining all the factions available for the buff.

for new blog post today Credit: Wowhead

I have been somewhat slack on the Rustbolt Resistance reputation, so this is great news for me. Mechagon had just been released prior to my IRL issues, so I missed a great deal of the new content and found myself considerably behind the curve (so to speak) once I returned. This will help me push for the Revered essences, although the materials may be a pain to gather.

The new reputation buff will be of great interest to players still seeking their mounts from the paragon chests within Legion. I still have a ton to collect, so when I’ve finally caught up with the Rustbolt Resistance, I’ll be heading over to complete the Legion World Quests

In Before The Crash…

Before I dash, I just wanted to add, that the Gold Making has been incredible the last couple of days. I’m unsure whether it was a result of the weekend (increased amount of players), or maybe people panicked to get their last 120’s over the line, in preperation for the XP buff which should’ve finished today. Thankfully, this news today, means this resurgence to the economy, will continue. However, I feel with more people getting involved in the markets, prices will sadly crash. This is evident with the Uncanny Gear, down to around the 800g1500g mark. Only a few weeks ago, those pieces of gear were bouncing out of the Auction House around the 10k15k mark. Best to make the most of it, before it all crashes…

Anyway, I’m off to Mechagon, until next time…

My First Month Back…

One Month And Counting

Well, today marks one month since my long-awaited return to World of Warcraft and what a ride it’s been… The timing of my return coupled with Blizzards 100% leveling boost and the Governments advice for the general public to stay home due to the coronavirus lockdown, made gold-making extremely profitable this month. Towelliee, mentioned in the build-up to his Shadowlands Alpha stream that “if the lockdown is prolonged further, there may be an extension to the boost!” I doubt it will happen, but you never know with the lack of content from here to the release of Shadowlands.

Getting Started

As mentioned in a previous blog post my inventory and gold took a hit, due to expired mail expiring and thus getting deleted, so with 5000 gold to my name on a new realm and an abundance of new materials at my disposal, my first port of call was collecting a lot of Marks of Honor through weekly PvP and Battlegrounds; so I could purchase the new recipes for the Uncanny gear. In the beginning, I concentrated on 3 professions, Blacksmithing, Leatherworking, and Tailoring, but with Guilded Silkweave extremely expensive on my realm, Tailoring ended up being ditched to one-side so I replaced it with Inscription.

Blacksmithing and Leatherworking were no brainers, Plate gear and an armory of weapons and Leatherworking gave me Leather and Mail items, not forgetting the Bow too… these 2 professions alone, gave me an extremely vast amount of gear. Inscription gave me the chance to craft the Compendium trinkets which have been very profitable at the beginning, however, Zin’anthid is slowly increasing in value cutting into my profits. If time is on my side, I may look to farm it myself.

What’s Been Rolling Off The Shelves…

With regard to the leveling boost mentioned at the beginning, the main sales I’ve made are with regard to leveling. Enchants for heirlooms (and end-game gear), Gems for Wrath of the Lich King and Cataclysm Timewalking, Deep Sea Satin bags and without a doubt the biggest income, coming from Uncanny gear; mainly the weapons.

With Pandaria material’s extremely cheap on my realm (thanks to Uldum and Vale of Eternal Blossom’s assaults), I found it a good opportunity to flip them at certain times of the week. With professions to fall back on, I could easily make use of the materials with Pandaria transmog, so the risk was very low.

Here’s a couple of mailbox screenshots full of gold from this month, notice that Recipes, Battle Pets, and poor items still sell… That Papi sale was a 100k flip too! There’s a lot more sales, but there are just some of the highlights of the month.

Conclusion

With the leveling boost potentially coming to an end on the 20th April, it’s fair to say that there will be a huge drop in uncanny sales, so I will be branching off back into other markets and starting up a couple of my alt realms which I sadly mistreated since my break from the game. I want to get back into Battle Pets again too, but with a lot of them lost in the mail, I think it’s fair to say a vast chunk of my investment, will be in Battle Pets in the coming days.

Below I’ve added my graph from my TSM4 dashboard. Please bear in mind, this is solely for this realm and character only. I’ve also edited out my name and realm because I know you guys like to find me (wink wink).

I reached 43k on my first day back (March 17th) and currently sitting on 1,146,661 gold

The goal so far was to reinvest my gold immediately into materials for crafting and potential flips, hence why you can see fluctuations midway through the month and a dramatic increase towards the end of the month.

Before I Go…

If you want to drop me a line, feel free to send me a DM on Twitter or my Facebook page. I do not leave my comments open on my blog, purely because of the minority of people on WordPress, that feel it’s appropriate to advertise or post malicious content there. I’m unable to monitor the comments, so it’s best that it stays closed.

I prefer DM’s on Twitter as there’s no limit to the words I can use. This helps keep everything together neatly if you require some advice from me. I’ll get back to you on either platform as soon as I possibly can, so bear with me.

Wow-Pets is now back up and detailing prices for level 1 and 25 battle pets, which is awesome. If you’re like my self and use the site to base your average prices for your pets, be sure to leave it a couple of days/weeks. This will help base a better average, as the data before the site went down has been lost, so prices will be very volatile.

Lastly, thank you for dropping on by!

Winds of Wisdom

So, I was just posting some auctions and to my surprise, in the top right-hand corner, was a new buff applied, called Winds of Wisdom. I was immediately taken back by this, so I immediately checked what was going on. It’s a buff which does the following; Experience gain increased by 100% (confirmation below) and will be effective between 20th March to 20th April!

winds of wisdom buff

Blizzard obviously aware of the current situation regarding coronavirus (COVID-19) and the need for everyone to start self-isolating has undoubtedly given players of World of Warcraft a little incentive to abide by the current restrictions and alleviate a lot of the free time, by offering this buff. Thankfully at the time of this blog post, there are no restrictions with this buff. I wore full heirlooms + Warmode and the 100% Experience buff and completed a Legion Assault – which may I add is an insane experience gain! I got almost three levels in the space of one assault, please bear in mind I was gathering as well! I haven’t completed a BFA Faction Assault yet as there wasn’t one available, but I’d guess the experience gain from this is also incredible. In fact, @Warcraft on Twitter has just confirmed it!

winds of wisdom buff confirmation

With the weekend finally upon us, I was eager to get some auctions posted, but this new development has put a hold on that. Due to my previous issues IRL I was unable to fully appreciate the insane experience gains from the recent Alterac Valley battleground event. Given this new buff has no restrictions and can be used in every aspect of gaining experience, I’d think it’s fair to say this could be the best experience buff anyone’s experienced to date.

Now what will be interesting, is when The Darkmoon Faire visits with the carousel buff  WHEE! , or interestingly, experience potions ( Elixir of the Rapid Mind &  Excess Potion of Accelerated Learning) If these all stack too, then OMG!

Wowhead has recently published a great article, that I’d urge you to read. It has guides on class leveling with everything you need to know, check it out HERE.

To put how crazy this is into perspective, as of yesterday afternoon the EU WoWToken was at 194,195g as of this morning at 07:15 the token is sitting at 231,571g!

Anyway, I’d love to stay and chat further, but I’m going to do some leveling… I hope you’re taking part too.

Cya in Azeroth!

The Long Awaited Return Is Here…

Hello readers…

This seems very strange, writing a blog post here after such a long time away, but… as the title of this blog states (i hope), the long-awaited return is here…

The Downlow:

Some of you know the reason for my absence, if not, feel free to check out my previous blog post HERE. The good news is, that due to the health issues that my wife experienced, have become manageable, I’ve got a lot more time at my disposal, hence my return today. Now I have to reiterate the word manageable – my wife has Coronary Artery Disease (CAD), so as long as she takes her medication, looks after herself through a good balanced diet and exercise, things should be under control. Heart disease sadly runs through her side of the family, her sister sadly died of sudden heart failure.

She has a 50% blockage in her artery that leads to her heart, due to the artery being so small, her consultant was unable to fit a stent to relieve the issue, this and a number of heart attacks since diagnosis was the main reason why it’s taken so long to get where we are today. As long as she takes her medication, her CAD can be controlled and any potential issues limited.

The Goldmaking Front:

Prior to my break from the game, I managed to hit 100 million gold, get my Brontisaur, screw up my TSM profile (which I thankfully backed up) and most notably, post-break have approximately 70% of my inventory (that I posted onto the Auction House) expire; then after 30 days sitting within my mailbox – expire there too. If there’s one plus, it’s nice to have a manageable inventory again… if you want to call it that lol. I dare not even consider thinking of the true value of that missing inventory. But to give you a little taste, I lost most of my TCG pets,  mounts, practically all my level 25 battle pets, Replica BoEs and a lot of crafted rare gear. This is merely just a stumbling block and will give me the motivation to rebuild.

With respect to my gold balance as of today, I’m currently sitting on 17,800,378g after heavily investing in, pre-purchasing Shadowlands on all 8 accounts and 12 Months game-time on all accounts, not forgetting the investment in many markets that I sadly lost in the mail. 17m gold is small in comparison to that of 100m but I’m kind of relieved I even have that. But at least I have a little something to get my feet wet as Battle for Azeroth comes to a close… it also gives me an incentive to try and get 100m gold again!

A lot of the markets I used to dabble in, some are still holding value (i.e. Replica BoEs, Batte Pets & Transmog), however, a lot of new things that I’ve missed may be too late for me. Most importantly the Corrupted BoEs which no doubt I’d have been involved in had I not been away. But it’s great seeing other gold makers making an absolute killing. My reasoning for me possibly being too late, is that with the new changes to corruption items dropping more frequently, the demand MAY start dropping, as will the prices. I feel this to be extremely volatile and not worth the risk.

If you want to shop for Corruption BoEs yourself, then a quick and simple string posted below will help you search for them. Open up the Auction House, click on the TSM tab then Shopping tab. In the search bar enter the following.

/120/120/i460/i475/Armor/Epic

This will filter out level 120 ilvl 460-475 armor. This doesn’t filter out corruption items, you will need to sift through the list and find them yourself and then decide to buy anything you find in your results. Anything below ilvl 460 loses value I believe due to scaling, but if you wish to look at lower ilvls, simply replace i460 with i445 or i430. Click the star on the recent search tab, to add this filter for another day. Feel free to rename it.

For information on the best corruptions, check out the class guides on Wowhead and Icyveins. Read their guides carefully!

What Now:

As of today, I will be completely redoing my TSM profile from top to bottom. This is a task that I’ve been considering for some time. I’ve built up so much information, the profile was getting sluggish even at the best of time. This won’t be an easy feat, and will no doubt take a lot of time to do correctly and efficiently.  My main target is to re-do my battle pet groups. This held a lot of information and no doubt had a massive bearing on why my profile was sluggish – this was evident when importing and exporting from profiles and posting/shopping auctions.

Get reacquainted with old and new markets in preparation for Shadowlands. Yes, with all new expansions, comes the need to stockpile as I have done prior to every other expansion.

My main character is ilvl 438 – I haven’t done as much as I’d hoped on him, but happy to have finally got my LFR Ny’alotha kill on Tuesday, even if it felt like it was a raid progression night after the 3+ hours struggling to kill it. Gotta love LFR/PUG’s. Going by Wowhead, I’ve seen others complaining that they’ve spent a lot more than 3 hours! Personally, I thought it was a fun fight!

Leveling/gearing alts. I know leveling will be a lot quicker and simpler once Shadowlands is here, but I’m going to be more interested in my main when the expansion is here and gold making of course. I normally concentrate on alts when an expansion comes to an end giving me the opportunity to experience other classes/factions. Can’t beat a different perspective of the game!

Shadowlands:

Hopefully, by the time Shadowlands drops, I should’ve gotten my feet well and truly back under the table and back into the swing of things. Datamining is already proving to be very difficult, thanks to Blizzards encryptions, so Alphas and Betas are going to prove very important again. I doubt I’ll be participating myself, but I’ll do my best to share anything I see on my travels.

It’s hard to tell where professions will be next expansion, but if it’s anything like BFA, then be ready. The amounts of gold people were making on the release of BFA was nothing short of incredible. Hikons a Youtuber and a regular on Twitter made an absolute fortune and still does. Even I was in awe of what he was achieving!

If you’re not into crafting, then I suggest you find the time to farm herbs/ore. The demand is so great it doesn’t even bear thinking about – unless you’re struggling to sleep 😉

Anyway, that’s all from me today. This was just a little update on my return and hopefully, I’ll have another update in the next few days… I look forward to catching you all on Twitter however poor my sneaking skills are… Yes, I’m looking at you Peelyon!  😂

Thanks for reading, take care!

TSM4 Battle Pet Import String 8.0.1

Hello guys, so I’ve managed to spare a couple of hours and finally get round to updating my TSM 4 Battle Pet groups. These groups include all the recently added battle pets for Battle for Azeroth (BFA) 8.0.1. I hope to have a future update, if there’s anymore pets released in 8.1

Battle Pets Import String for 8.0.1

Please bear in mind, these groups have no operations included and may not work with TSM 3; this is to limit any future issues that may occur. The operations can easily be created by yourself with some excellent information from The Undermine Journal & WoW Pets. These sites will have guides on the average prices the pets are posted at, on any given realm you select.

I’d also like to add, that these groups won’t be of interest to everybody. These groups are designed to offer as much information as possible to hand, when accessing your tooltips for promptly buying and selling on the Auction House. The groups will use a vast amount of in-game memory due to the size of the groups. Below I’ve added an image of the what the layout looks like within TSM 4.

tsm battle pet image for blog

You will also notice in the image above, that each Battle Pet is separated into alphabetical order and where possible, further separated by their level, rare and uncommon status. This is to give each pet their appropriate operation easily, as each pet has their own price.

What this image won’t show above, is that the whole Battle Pet import string is separated in to 4 groups, (A-F, G-M, N-T, & U-Z) this is purely because of the size of the import string, and to import it as a whole, would make the game lock-up and the import fail. Below I’ve added a detailed rundown on how to successfully import these strings. Please follow them to prevent any issues.

How to import my Battle Pet string.

1) Go in to your addons in-game and deactivate all of them apart from TSM4. (This prevents any conflicts during importing) then /reloadui in the chat box to save your work. You can reactivate your addons, once everything is complete!

2) Open TSM4 and backup your existing profile, go to: Settings > General Settings select your profile and select duplicate then name your duplicated profile Backup Do a /reloadui to correctly save your work.

3) Now head to my Pastebin; below are the links to each of the Battle Pet import strings you’ll need.

[TSM4] Battle Pet Import String (A-F) No Operations 13.10.18
[TSM4] Battle Pet Import String (G-M) No Operations 13.10.18
[TSM4] Battle Pet Import String (N-T) No Operations 13.10.18
[TSM4] Battle Pet Import String (U-Z) No Operations 13.10.18

Make sure you only import one string at a time! Once you’ve imported one string /reloadui to save your work, then proceed to importing the next one! If you notice your game is non-responsive after importing a string and you’ve correctly /reloadui previously, then let the game crash to log-in screen. This is normal! This happens when a lot of information is imported in to the game in one instance. DO NOT go into Task Manager and End Task as this will not let the game save all the data you imported. When you log back in, you’ll see that the groups actually imported successfully!

*However, if you did forget to /reloadui previously, then your only option is the Task Manager and End Task! Your game will lock-up, if too many large imports are made in one go! This is why you’re urged to /reloadui between each task!*

Once these directions have been followed, you should have a complete Battle Pet Group including all the pets introduced in 8.0.1 at your disposal. Now you can reactivate your addons!

**Whilst every effort was taken to correctly create these groups, you MIGHT come across a mistake. Be sure to drop me a line either on my Blog (please be aware comments need to be moderated before being published) or for a prompt response, use my Twitter handle and I’d be happy to get back to you at the earliest convenience.**

What’s Happened?!

Some of you know me through Facebook, so will already be aware of this news, for those of you who don’t know and wondering where I’ve been, I hope this blog post can offer some light.

On the evening of Tuesday 18th September, my wife Sharna, experienced a heart attack at home. Thankfully I wasn’t at Pool, in fact, I think I was posting expired auctions on World of Warcraft. My daughter Emily called me downstairs to inform me Sharna wasn’t feeling well, so quickly rushed downstairs.

When I got to Sharna I knew straight off the bat, something wasn’t right. She explained to me her symptoms and I was 100% sure it was a heart attack! We promptly got an ambulance and within an hour in A&E, an ECG and blood test confirmed what I had feared.

Sharna had experienced a couple more heart attacks during her stay, but it wasn’t till Friday 21st that they called for an emergency Angiagram as the Cardio consultant wasn’t happy with the results of her Echo scan. The Angiagram showed a blockage in the artery, but it was far too narrow to use a stent. So she’d been put on medication to fix the issues instead.

Sharna was discharged the following day (Saturday 22nd) and fingers crossed, things have been improving extremely well. Today (Sunday 30th) is the 2nd week of her recovery, which means she can increase her workload, in a bid to get 100% recovery, but we’re not rushing anything.

Sharna works full-time as a support worker, so it’s imperative if she’s to return, that she’s 100% better. Her consultant has given us a minimum time frame of 4-6 weeks from discharge date, but has warned us, people recover differently, so use the time-frame as a guide.

Anyway, I hope this shed’s a little light on my absence. I’m not 100% sure when I’ll be back, currently, I’m looking to log on when Sharna is asleep behind me, so know nothing can happen. No time-frame on my full-time return. I had promised some #FF I will see what I can do this coming Friday (5th October) no promises though. I know you’ll understand. For those #FF from last Friday, thank you very much, I won’t forget to mention you all when I’m back!

Cya all soon!

Influx of Darkmoon Faire Quest Items

Hello guys, long time no see.

I just wanted to create a quick post today regarding a previous blog post The Darkmoon Faire Revisited. Basically because of the recent influx of Darkmoon Faire Quest Items due to the increased content brought to us by Battle for Azeroth or soon, Shadowlands.

Due to the increased content, PvP, Dungeons, Questing and the impending pre-patch and, a lot of returning players, it’s never been easier to obtain the quest items. If you have your  Darkmoon Adventurer’s Guide in your inventory, you have a chance to loot a Darkmoon Quest item. Because of this, the Auction House is flooded with items, which has dramatically decreased the value for these items.

High competition + increased supply = market crash

So please ignore the previous prices I was advising. I will edit those prices in that blog post immediately but wanted to clarify here first, why the need to change them. If you did follow those prices, then don’t be disheartened, as you can still turn those in and make gold from other markets.

You can buy up Darkmoon Faire Quest Items from the Auction House for approximately 100g-500g each (dependant of your realm’s economy) although this is lower than initially outlined, there’s still plenty of profit to be made! Buying up quest items, turn in, and buy Replica gear is still the best method. I’m selling gear at around the 40-75k mark EACH on many of my realms. There are even players barking in trade chat, selling full sets for crazy amounts of gold!

When you consider it costs me on average 1k-2.5k to buy all the Darkmoon Faire Quest Items you can easily turn all these into huge profits! This is hugely beneficial to do on ALTS too!

Please bear in mind, that SOME quest items do have level requirements to hand in successfully and you must be level 60 to purchase Replica Transmog.

So although the buying/flipping market for Darkmoon Faire Quest Items may be ruined (at the moment), there’s still plenty of room in other markets. Check out your realms economy/market via TheUndermineJournal and see if there’s value for you too!

Just a couple of Replica Transmog sales since the release of Battle for Azeroth, to offer you some confidence in this market! You can also enter #Replica #Transmog within the search bar on Twitter to see some of my sales, I’ve shared prior to the release of Battle for Azeroth!

Darkmoon Trinket Buff! 20/08/18

Just in case you’ve missed it, there’s been a recent hotfix to Darkmoon trinkets, increasing their stats. This will make some of these, POSSIBLY BiS before raid content arrives. Now you probably won’t think too much of this, but consider the people who cashed in on all this, last night, when this was first revealed!

There were Darkmoon Deck: Squalls selling at 38k on my realm, Darkmoon Deck: blockades at 64.9k, now they’ve shot up to 150k+ and raising! Some will probably settle around that area, but this all depends on the competition on your realm. I’ve bought some this afternoon at approximately 70k and reselling at 199k. I may have missed out on the big boom when the expansion released, due to levelling, but this is a decent little earner in the meantime.

So if you have some gold handy, check your auction houses and see if there’s some value for you. I’ve bought up a ton this morning/afternoon, so there’s still bargains to be had! As ever, be vigilant and to make the most out of your profit, use trade chat to bark what you’re selling, eliminates that AH fee 😉

Always check out trusted sites like The Undermine Journal which you can keep track on the realm/region prices etc for any given item on any given realm. Some prices may still have yesterdays data, so won’t come in to effect, so take that in mind.

Here’s a screenshot of the hotfix.
