MoP Remix – Lion’s Landing Bronze & Thread Farm

MoP Remix - Lion's Landing Bronze & Thread Farm

MoP Remix – Lion’s Landing Bronze & Thread Farm:

I have a new exciting Bronze and Thread farm for Horde players that I accidentally stumbled upon while completing my dailies this morning. You must have completed the prerequisite quests for the Campaign: Landfall to reach this farming location; otherwise, the mobs will not phase correctly and will be unlootable.

Disclaimer:

The mobs for Horde players within Lion’s Landing are dense and drop lots of loot. However, mobs for Alliance players in and around Domination Point could be better. I have added information for both Factions so Alliance players can continue testing.

Predominantly, I’d recommend doing this farm as Horde!

Getting started:

Ensure you are level 20 or above and have picked up the starting quest: Meet the Scout for the Campaign: Landfall. You can find the quest at the front of your Factions hub within the Vale of Eternal Blossoms.

  • Horde – Shrine of Two Moons
  • Alliance – Shrine of Seven Stars

Location of Lion’s Landing:

You need to reach Krasarang Wilds, a level 20-70 zone. Ensure your character’s level is within this range for a smooth farming experience!

My Character:

In the guide, I used a level 70 Boomkin with ilvl 451 gear, but I’ve also used my level 20 Brewmaster Twink. Both are effortless against these mobs due to scaling. Having good Tinker Gems for damage helps kill the mobs quicker.

Unsure about Twinks in MoP Remix? check out my article here.

My Boomkin, Timerunner.

My Selected Tinker Gems:

Here’s a list of Tinker Gems I have equipped; it’s not best in slot, but it’s more of me being transparent about what I used for this guide. Make any changes you wish. Due to potential dismounting in the air, consider using Windweaver for immunity to fall damage.

Potential Loot:

We will be looting a lot of armor and gems, but more importantly, Bronze and Threads. If you don’t need the armor/gems, you can scrap these for more Bronze. Ensure your bags are empty before starting, or regularly manage your inventory.

Horde Players:

Once you have your quest: Meet the Scout, head towards Garrosh Hellscream in Krasarang Wilds at the coordinates [8.64]. He will have the quest: The Might of the Warchief. Once completed, pick up the next quest: Domination Point immediately. Head to the bonfire marked on your map and turn in the quest.

Once the cinematic ends, you will notice that the zone has a new phase. Domination Point for Horde and Lion’s Landing for Alliance. We’re interested in Lion’s Landing!

There is no need to do anything further with the Campaign. Continue to the next section, Farming – Lion’s Landing.

Farming – Lion’s Landing:

Horde players should make their way toward Lion’s Landing (on the opposite side of the zone); here, you will find two large packs of Alliance mobs that, once cleared, take approximately 1 minute to respawn. You can move around the compound, searching for rares during downtime.

The two packs are on the beach, on the western side outside the compound, in the rough coordinates of [76.26]!

Lion's Landing, Krasarang Wilds.

Rares:

There are three rares: Dalan Nightbreaker, Mavis Harms, and Disha Fearwarden. They drop three threads each. They take approximately 15-20 minutes to respawn.

Alliance Players:

Once you’ve picked up your quest: Meet the Scout, head for King Varian Wrynn at Krasarand Wilds coordinates [85.29]. He will offer you a new quest: A King among Men. Once you’ve completed this, immediately accept the quest, Lion’s Landing, and head towards the flare launcher.

Complete the quest, and a cinematic will begin; once completed, you will phase into the new compound, Lion’s Landing. You do not need to do any further quests. Now read the following section: Farming – Domination Point.

Farming – Domination Point:

For Alliance players, your target is Domination Point, which, from your perspective, is again on the opposite side of the zone. On the eastern side of the compound are greaseworks and a mine. You will find small packs of mobs.

As a reminder, these are less profitable than the mobs for Horde, as stated at the beginning of this article.

Rares:

There are three rares: Kar Warmaker, Ubunti the Shade, and Muerta. They drop three threads each. They take approximately 15-20 minutes to respawn.

Farming Video:

Here’s some raw footage of the farm I did on my Horde character in Lion’s Landing. I’ve sped this up by 150%. You can see me looting a lot of Bronze, Threads, Gear, and Gems. Please excuse the keyboard turning and clicking!

Conclusion:

Today’s farm is another alternative for players to collect Bronze and Threads. With many farming locations heavily farmed, it’s nice to have alternative options. While this article is predominantly for Horde players, I’ve added information for Alliance so others can test it out and hopefully have some success.

The ease at which you clear the mobs will depend on your class, gear, and gems. I used a Boomkin in the guide, as it has excellent mobility and instant cast abilities. It would help if you considered the Tinker Gem: Windweaver. You may get dismounted in flight often, and this gem gives you immunity to fall damage!
