Using Gold for a Wow Token to Cover Costs of a Guild Transfer

Ive had the dilema for a while now, whether to transfer the remainder of my alts to my main server, as I wanted all my characters on one realm. The aim for this, is to have every profession at max level, a vast range of different classes at my disposal and more importantly they’ll all be together. Now, all these alts have Guild banks already, so Ive taken the choice to do Guild Transfers. As you’ll know, this will set me back £25 per transfer, so I need to make sure, that if I want to cover these costs, I need to make as much gold as possible, so that I can recoup that £25 back via wow tokens, for future subscriptions to the game.

So with that said, I looked on The Undermine Journal and to see what is of high value and see if I can buy those items a lot cheaper on the realm I’m looking to leave. You may have noticed today (04/03/16) via Twitter, that Ive sold a large amount of  Champion’s Honor. I have been selling these for approximately 18-25k each! I bought these for 10k on the realm I left. I managed to buy 60 of them, so for a 600k investment, I can see a return of 1.08m minimum and up to 1.5m maximum. With the price at 74k for a wow token, this will earn me a minimum of £59. So Ive easilly covered my expenses in the long run!

Champions Honor sales

I have 25 left on the auction house as of writing this post and these will likely sell before the end of the weekend, as a higher volume of players are able to play. I’ve been fortunate, not to limit myself just to  Champion’s Honor tokens though, Ive also invested in cheap  Medallion of the Legion,  Frozen Arms of a Hero tokens and  Elixir of the Rapid Mind. These all sell extremely well on my main server, as people look to power level alts, earn their flying or max out their Garrisons before the nerf bat swings ready for Legion.

The morale of all this is, look at all the opportunities available to you, see what markets you can manipulate, especially with items transfered from one realm to another and at the end, this will make it viable to pay for your Guild or Character transfer, via a WoW Token.

Thanks for reading… good luck!

Peelyon’s Updated Squirt Power Leveling Strategy

If you’re not following Peelyon on Twitter already, why not?! If you’ve got any aspirations in power leveling your Battle Pets from level 1-25 in the quickest and efficient time possible, then you need to be following Peelyon and be updated with the best battle pet guides and strategies out there. If you’re on EU like ourselves, you will know that today (29.02.16) is the Squirt Menagerie daily from your Garrison Menagerie. Squirt is available to you, for one day, every 15 days, so it’s imperitive that you take advantage of this.

If you’ve seen my previous post regarding Peelyon’s previous strategy with the Worg Pup and Blighthawk, you’ll know it relied heavilly on RNG, meaning, if you experienced a miss etc, it was very likely, that you’d have to forfeit and try again. However, this new strategy he’s created is simplified further and is now a guarenteed 100% win! He now uses two different rare pets, Enchanted Broom and Weebomination.

Anyway, enough from me, check Peelyon’s video out below and please do check out his YouTube, Twitter and Facebook Page, to leave your appreciation!

Outland Timewalking Dungeon Event 25-02-16

This weeks event is the Outland Timewalking Dungeon Event and means our battles and foes lie in the depths of The Burning Crusade (TBC) expansion. You’d probably be wondering what’s the point to this blog post. Well wonder no more, as I explain a little trick that’s been doing the rounds recently and it involves minipulating the mechanic of scaling down your gear. As the scaling down is very difficult for Blizzard to get exactly spot on, people have found that it’s benficial to grind the Best in Slot (BiS) gear for TBC to prevent the need for the mechanic altogether, and with an extra emphasis on taking advantage of the extra gem slots.

We as Goblins can profit from this, because if you had a BiS chest from Hellfire Citadel Warlords of Draenor (WoD) with one gem slot, which was then scaled down, the gem value would be [example] 1 x +10 of any primary stat, whereas if you were fortunate to have a BiS chest from Sunwell (TBC), with 3 x +10 of any primary stat, already you’ve boosted +20 of your primary stat and that’s just the start of things. This is a fantastic opportunity, to get out those old TBC recipes or crafts as the demand increases for them.

Ive already seen an increase in sales for Crimson Spinel cuts within Jewelcrafting and sure there would be an increase in sales for Enchants etc. We’re barely into the first day of the event and the profits are rolling in. I’m sure if you scoure the internet, there will be better writeups for this tactic, but this blog post is solely for the aim of informing you of this crafting opportunity. This tactic will work on any Timewalking Dungeon Event, so be sure to start stocking up on other gems, enchants etc if you havent already!

If you’re passing by and see this and you have a detailed writup of this, feel free to drop me a link below and I’d be happy to direct all to your post.

Fishing up the Sea Turtle via the Naval Missions

Yes… you read the title of this blog correctly, it’s possible to fish up the Sea Turtle via your Naval Missions. Simply attach a  Tuskarr Fishing Net to your ships and if you’re lucky, you may fish it up without the need to literally fish it up yourself.

sea turtle via naval missions

I’d suggest placing the Tuskarr Fishing Net on your Transport Ship, one that you’d send out on Oil Missions. You can purchase the nets for 500 Garrison Resources and they’re available from Kronk Rustspark, Frostfire Ridge or Salty Jorren, Shadowmoon Valley.

If you dont have the Tuskarr fishing net unlocked yet, then you must complete the reputation requirement, to buy this recipe from the vendor. If you’re Alliance, you must earn Honored reputation with the Hand of the Prophet. For Horde players, you must earn Honored reputation with the Vol’jin’s Headhunters. The recipe will cost you 500g.

Let me know if you’ve been successful to fish this up via the above method.

A Great Weekend For Income and Investing.

It’s not a surprise that the weekends always bring higher sales, due to the increase of players able to play and this weekend was no different. To be fair, the cherry on the cake was the TSM3 price strings finally settling down, and offering a steady price source and this was proven by the return of many Replica Transmog sales etc.

Ive highlighted some of my sales this weekend, below.

The big surprise was the sale of the Replica Heroism Boots being purchased at a price that exceeded the price of the Replica Heroism Breastplate. Anyone familiar with farming the Darkmoon Faire tokens will know that the chest pieces are far more expensive than that of the boots.

Ive also seen an increase in pet sales this weekend too. Which to be fair, considering it was the Squirt Menagerie daily on Sunday, it was an absolute surprise. I managed to sell a Lanticore Spawnling for 20k and an Emerald Whelpling for 18k, but to top it off I also managed to sell a Hyacinth Macaw for 25k too.

I also managed to get into some new markets too, mainly recipes. I’ve always tried to dabble in the recipe market, but always put off, but thankfully I had a change in heart this weekend thanks to the reipes dropping onto my lap (so to speak). I had some cracking sales, which again, you can find below.

Now to a different perspective altogether. You might be familiar with the Guild Bank profits in the days of Mists of Pandaria, where you could boost a Guild to level 25 and get some alts inside and sell for huge profits. Well I used to buy a lot of these up for my alts, purely for the perks, but sadly this came to an end with the release of Warlords of Draenor. But… as you’ll see below, this still goes on, but with different perks in mind.

On Sunday, I glanced to trade chat whilst doing the Squirt Menagerie daily and to my surprise, there was a guy selling a Guild Bank for 160k, full of Transmog, Pets and Recipes inside. Now with my experience in this market in the past, I decided to contact the seller and he was extremely nice and let me check out the contents. When I checked, there was only 6 tabs, but the contents and tabs totalled a minimum of 370k. I said to the guy (cheekily), as there was only 6 tabs, I’ll go down to 150k, so I could get the 7th tab and to my surprise he agreed.

When everything was settled and transfered I finally got around to sorting the tabs out and 3 of the items above, that Ive sold, were from this Guild Bank and there’s still another 5 tabs worth of stuff that could net me a further 320k minimum!

The morale of the story is, dont be put off from buying something different, if the value is there! Trust your instincts and calculate the profits and by all means, trade safely before handing that hard earned gold over.

How has your weekend gone? have you made any notable sales? Share you stories in the comments below.

Thanks for reading and until next time…

Battle Pet TSM 3 Import String v.1

Good evening guys, my time has been extremely limited as of late with regards to World of Warcraft, but with what little time I did have, Ive managed to put to good use and have finally got a Battle Pet import string created for TSM3. This has taken me alot of time to create and is by no means the finished article, but one that is a work in progress.

To get this Battle Pet Import String, simply click here

To clarify, I have placed all the Battle Pets in alphabetical order and have added a level 01 and level 25 of each pet where available. Ive also added a (U) to signal an Uncommon level 01 pet and an (R) to signal a Rare level 01 pet. There is one instance where Ive added a (C) to signal a Common pet. The level 25’s have been added as rare too as default! Ive also gone to the liberty of adding a couple of level 24’s where possible. This was mainly due to having some in my inventry that I sell.

Ive added the group structures to the string too, but have decided not to add the operations, this is purely based on the fact that each server has it’s own price ranges etc. I’m sure it wont take you too long to check The Undermine Journal (TUJ) its a great source for pricing your pets for any given server.

I’d also like to remind you that this is version v.1 and will be updated when possible. I’ve added (*) to signal pets missing which will need to be added at a later date. Feel free to add these if they’re available on your auction house or alternatively, follow my blog for updates on the release of any new versions.

Directions:

Copy the string Ive uploaded at Pastebin and carefully import the string within your TSM3. Make sure TSM is updated. Always backup your TSM in case of any errors or issues that may occur.

If you experience any issues, with regard to this string, please do drop me a line and I’ll get back to you as soon as possible.

Important:

If you want to share this string, please do take the time to credit me for my work. It’s taken me along time to create and I know that this is something that alot of people have wanted within the community.

Ilvl 397 BoE Wrists and Boots Transmog

I’ll be honest, but I’ve kind of stumbled upon this today, but it’s definitely worth sharing just in case some of you have missed this too.

There are two vendors, one in Orgrimmar called Jamus’Vas and one in Stormwind called Faldren Tillsdale. They sell the old Valor ilvl 397 items, which are available for gold.  The items we’re interested in are the BoE (Bind on Equip) Wrists and Boots. These items vary from as little as 140g to 220g each (depending on your reputation) and the returns when sold on the auction house are excellent.

Now it’s important, that when you visit either of these vendors, and interact with them, that you use the drop down menu and select available to all and BoE. This will show everything available to all classes not just yours! Showing BoE (Bind on Equip) will eliminate items also available for BoP (Bind on Pickup). If you dont follow this, be very careful you dont accidently purchase something that is BoP. You will not be able to resell anything BoP. Ive made this error many times in the past with vendor recipes, something I learnt very quickly.

I’d suggest checking out TuJ (The Undermine Journal) too and check what prices these go for on your auction house. Once you’re happy with any of the items, buy one of each and post to the auction house.

Example:

Rooftop Griptoes

Bought: 450g
Sold: 5299g

ilvl 397 boots - transmog

As I always say, the Transmog market is a very volatile and competitive market, you may make a sale within hours, days or even months, but the Transmog market is one of patience, to reap the full return on investment.

New Facebook Page Created.

facebook-buttonThis week, I decided to create a Facebook page, in a bid to try and reach out to many more people. The aim as you will know by now, is to try and share my experiences and guides to help you all generate more gold for whatever purpose you have. I believe in creating this page on Facebook, that we can build a community which share the same interests. I’m slowly getting to grips with the page, so hopfully, you can bear with me whilst I get accustomed to what it all has to offer.

Please be aware that at this early stage, Ive added moderation to the page, this means that any posts created by you, will need to be veryfied by me, before they’re published. This is simply to prevent any milicious comments or unauthorised advertising, which can and will upset any that visit my page. I hope you can understand this is only in place, to keep the community in a pleasant enviroment. If you do wish to contact me, please do message me via the message option on the page and will do my best to reply as soon as possible.

You will also notice that Ive added a small Facebook icon on my blog to the right of this post under Social Media. If you’re struggling to see this, please follow the link HERE.

On a last note, please could I ask, that if you like what I’m doing, information I’m adding, then please like and share my blog, Facebook page and Twitter. Upon doing so, means you’re liking my guides and tips. It doesnt take long to do and shows appreciation for my work.

Thanks for checking in and as always, I look forward to seeing you all again soon.

Easy Gold with Feast of Winter Veil (6.2.3)

Disclaimer: I do not take any credit for this guide, this is the work of UmrenTV which I was fortunate enough to come across via YouTube. I’m just sharing what seems to be an extremely good guide.

Gaudy Winter Veil Sweater shuffle. A profession shuffle is crafting an item, to maximise materials from either disenchanting, prospecting or by selling the craft to a vendor for a profit.

This is only available during Feast of Winter Veil.

If you have level 1 Enchanting and some starting gold, it appears you can make a lot of gold purchasing  Gaudy Winter Veil Sweater which disenchants into either 1  Strange Dust or 1  Lesser Magic Essence. Just fill your bags with the sweaters and disenchant them and depending on your realms Auction House, you can make a lot of easy gold.

The sweater costs 22 copper and on average, 1   Strange Dust on my realm goes for 42 silver. So massive profits to be made.

Here’s a macro, kindly added by UmrenTV;

The Macro:
/run BuyMerchantItem(7)
/cast Disenchant
/use Gaudy Winter Veil Sweater

Here’s a video he posted on YouTube, if you wish to see how it all works. Be sure to drop him a like and sub, if you found his video helpful!

Thanks for reading and Merry Christmas!

Things To Do Before Legion

Sadly, the run up to any rLegionLogo_lessglowelease to a new expansion is always a long and drawn out process, with the lack of new content and things to do. The introduction of Legion, will be a longer wait than the release of any previous expansion. But if you’re willing to read this first installment, you’ll find plenty of things to occupy you until Legion finally hits and hopefully prevent you from cancelling your subscription.

PvP:

With the introduction of Season 3, everyone will be keen to gear up again. Dont worry if you’ve not done any PvP in Seasons 1 and 2, as all gear whether PvP/PvE will get boosted to 715 ilvl (15 ilvl below Gladiator gear from Season 2) in Season 3 whilst within a Battleground, Arena or Ashran. This helps close the gaps for new players. However, always remember ilvl is just a guide of your gear, it isnt the important factor, you’ll need to concentrate on the stat priority for your class in PvP, to reap the full rewards of your gear.

Ashran can be an excellent way to gear up, if you have the patients. There are many objectives and quests to occupy you, and as long as you’re within a good group and lead by a good leader, the task becomes almost effortless. If you’re unfortunate and dont get a good leader or group, this task is almost near impossible or could take some time to complete.

Tips:

When you kill a player in Ashran, make sure you loot the corpse. You will have a chance to loot one of the following.

 Troll Feet
 Blood Elf Ear
 Tauren Hoof
 Goblin Nose
 Orc Tooth
 Forsaken Brains
 Draenei Tail

 Dwarf Spine
 Human Bone Chip
 Pandaren Hide
 Severed Night Elf Head
 Tuft of Gnome Hair
 Worgen Snout

Each one of these items, will earn you a Dented Ashmaul Strongbox, which contains either gold, PvP points or gear. Horde corpses drop alternative tokens and reward the same Strongbox.

Pick up some Song flower which can be found in The Dark Woods. Upon use, will increases all your stats by 15% for 1 hour.

Star Root Tuber found in Gorian falls. Restores health and reduces 40% damage taken for 10 seconds.

Make sure you kill the rares within Ashran, as they drop Manuals, Books and scrolls that will benefit spells for your class. A map outlining all the rares can be found below.
