New Weekly & Monthly Sales Reviews Starting Next Week 30/10/17

As of the 30/10/17 I will be transferring my Weekly and Monthly sales reviews from Twitter on to my blog here. It’s clear that there’s been a downturn in traffic and interest in these posts in the last 2 weeks. I can only imagine that the amount of posts posted, with limited information has become somewhat tedious to my readers. Sadly Twitter restricts you to how much you can input into these tweets, thus starving readers of information etc.

With that said, I will post a weekly blog hopefully on the following Monday, looking at reviewing the previous weeks sales. This will be condensed into one post instead of the 16+ on Twitter! I will then add something in the same context at the end of the each Month, highlighting the best sales and my current gold balance to date! If this interests you, then be sure to click on the Follow tab on the right hand side, for updates on my next blog post. If this turns out successful and people prefer this method, I may add something further, showing my purchases and what I’m investing in for the future.

If you have any suggestions even critical comments, please do offer any feedback below. I’m making an effort to try and share what I’m doing and hopefully others can copy and make a lot of gold too. WoWTokens are at almost 300k on E.U so I’m sure those willing to invest in in-game gold, to pay for their game-time, could do with as many tips as they can get.

Until Monday… thank you for reading!

Updated Battle Pet Import String v.4 (NO LONGER AVAILABLE)

Good evening guys. Finally… yes finally, I think I have completed my Battle Pet Import Strings. Well, until the next patch comes out and more Battle Pets come into the game. Whilst every care was taken to create these groups and settings, if you do come across any errors that need my attention, please do contact me via Twitter and I’ll gladly help you out where necessary.

On this occasion I’ll be sharing three strings, two which have the Auction & shopping Operations included. These had to be split up, due to the size of the group. When you import these, make sure you /reloadui after the first import. This will write the info to your addon files and obviously refresh TSM. The other one, is without operations and easier to import. Simply copy the string you wish into your TSM3 which will benefit you the most. Please make sure you back up your TSM3 prior to importing, in the case of any potential issues/errors. If you do experience any issues, please do let me know on Twitter.

If you want to share these strings, please do so, but credit me where possible! I’ve spent a lot of time creating these and I always credit people their work I share, I would appreciate the same please. Please DO NOT sell these strings either, these are created to help others, not to profit from them.

Reminder:
Thanks to Peelyon, Super Squirt is on Sunday 12th Feb, so if you wish to power level any Battle Pets from 1 to 25 please follow his guide. Also, don’t forget he streams on Twitch too. He has a depth of knowledge on Battle Pets and making gold within Warcraft, so be sure to drop on by and check him out.

Many thanks for reading and hope you benefit from these strings. Until next time.

Patch 7.1 Return to Karazhan Release Date

Patch 7.1 Return to Karazhan is live on October 25th!

I’m not sure about you, but when developers were insistent they would offer more content frequently, I honestly didn’t think it would be this frequent, or to the point…. too soon!

Nevertheless, it’s time to get ready I suppose. If you wish to read up on more of the live Q&A from Game Director Ion Hazzikostas and more information on the patch, click the link HERE to be re-directed to Wowhead.

Time to start re-evaluating our stock ready for patch day!

Legion & Sales Update

We’re well into the second month of World of Warcraft‘s LegionLogo_lessglow
new expansion Legion and the early signs on social media and individual press releases, suggest this is the best selling expansion since Cataclysm, as subscriptions soar up to *10.1 million. The fact that the subscriptions haven’t tailed off yet, can only mean, that the advice the community gave developers has well and truly paid off! It might be too early to get too excited, but the signs do look very reassuring and probably prove, that Warcraft isn’t dead after all… Be prepared, as there’s another influx of new players as of today, with the release of Warcraft – The Beginning available on DvD.

On the gold making front, this has been by far the best start to an expansion I’ve experienced. Not only have I been prepared, but I think I’ve taken full advantage of a lot of players, that still hold a lot of gold, from Warlords of Garrisons…lol. I’ve managed to get myself into a lot of different markets too, which has reflected in the gold I’ve made to date. For me, Cooking, Leatherworking and Enchanting have been the best professions so far in this expansion, but an honourable mention to Jewelcrafting and Alchemy, thanks to the resurgence of prospect shuffling and the ability to obliterate. Sadly, the value in obliterating had subsided, but it was excellent whilst it lasted. However, it may make a decent return in 7.1, depending on how the developers manage crafted gear. Early reports suggest that developers are looking into adding another obliterum upgrade, but I very much doubt this will be enough to get the prices back up.

Old World crafts have been a massive profit too, especially within Enchanting & Leatherworking. The amount of Mists of Pandaria crafts I’ve made and sold is incredible. It’s fair to say Transmog has really taken off this expansion, thanks to the new Transmog Wardrobe. As well as MoP crafts, I’ve also made an absolute killing on the Replica market too! I’ve managed to sell on average 7 Replica items per week, which is a massive improvement from pre-Legion sales.

If I have one tip for you, get out and farm! Yes… FARM! There’s so much gold to be made from farming ore and herbs in Legion. Everyone needs materials for crafts, and consumables for raiding and at the beginning of every expansion/patch, materials are in high demand and can fetch a heavy price tag. So if you have a Herbalist or a Miner, go and farm till you hearts content and make an >insert expletive here< amount of gold…lol.

You’ll also notice from my previous blog, that, Ive been in the Legion BoE market too! This has been incredible to say the least! To be honest, I hardly got into this market, at the beginning of WoD, but I’m truly made up, that I took the big step into this market so early this time around. I’ve been doubling my investment on every item I’ve purchased and even started flipping the ilvl 850+. At the beginning of every expansion, there’s a lot of demand for BoE epics, due to the stats and ilvl they offer. This helps make levelling easier and quicker and also helps enter ilvl restricted Dungeons and raids. If you’re looking to level an alt etc, check your Auction House for these items, they’re an excellent addition to your gear if purchased at the right price!

To finish off, I’ve managed to endure the hard task of logging in to all of my alts, to get an update of my Total Gold Earned and I’ve added a couple of screenshots below. Please bare in mind, I play on 2 wow accounts, so added and labelled both. To date, my total gold earned is 58,585,540g

If you’re not aware of the addon Total Gold Earned, it’s an addon that adds all the gold earned from the Auction House on all your characters. This information is made available from your achievements. Simply log into the character you wish, enter /tge in chat to bring up the addon up in-game and it will automatically check your achievements and add your gold earned to the addon. Once you’ve logged in to all of your characters, you’ll have a grand total and voila, that is your total gold earned. Gold obtained via trades, are not included!

Thanks for reading guys and good luck!

Legion BoE’s

If you were a playing during Warlords of Draenor, LegionLogo_lessglow
you will be familiar with the crafted levelling gear you could equip at level 91 which boosted your ilevel and stats, these boosted your ability to kill mobs and speed up your levelling or assisted you in gaining entry to ilevel restricted dungeons etc. Sadly these were unique equipped items, meaning there was a restriction of 3 items which you could equip at any given time.

Thankfully this time around in Legion, the restrictions have been removed, but the BoE items are no longer crafted, but are available from random drops. The items of interest, will be the items that are available to level 101 characters and have an ilevel of 835 and above. These cost a very pretty penny as they will be of interest to mains (Mythics/Raiding), alts (levelling) and the new twink bracket (PvP) for Legion.

When I levelled my main, I was very fortunate to loot and sell Fran’s Intractable Loop ilevel 850, which I was able to sell for 100k (90k after AH cut). The ring was of no interest to me as I already had a better ring stat wise equipped, but with that said, the 90k helped me buy materials to assist me power levelling my professions etc.

for-blog-1

Now I wouldn’t recommend farming these items, due to how low the drop rate is, and sadly, there’s no way you can guarantee getting the item you want, as it’s completely random! So the best scenario we have, is using the gold we’ve successfully built and invest it in cheap Legion BoE’s posted onto the Auction House.

If you use TSM, you can use this string to shop. Simply copy and paste the string below in your search box and hit enter.

/101/101/i835/armor

What this will do, is search the Auction House and narrow down, all the items that are available to a character at level 101, then will narrow the search down further, by showing all the items that have an ilevel of 835 and above. All these items will be within the armor category too. Remember to save and rename the search, so you can search for BoE’s on a regular basis!

Once your search is complete, hit the ilevel column header to put all the items in order of their ilevel. This will make it far more easier to differentiate between each ilevel and prevent miss-clicking and over purchasing items of a lower ilevel. You can limit this further, by adding another /i835 within the above string and this will just show ilevel 835 items. Simply change it to i850 if you wish to just search for ilvl 850 items.

I’ve been buying up a lot of cheap BoE’s off the Auction House to flip. Below is an example of the prices I’ve been buying at and the minimum I’ve been flipping for. This isn’t a guide for what you should buy and sell at, as each server/realm is different.

for-blog

Some things to consider, always opt for items with good stats. for example, rings only have Stamina so check for good secondary stats and a bonus stat, this could boost value for your item. Also have consideration for items with Prismatic sockets, these give players the option to add a gem to the item, these will also increase value to the item.

Although this has been very profitable for me, it doesn’t guarantee to be profitable for everyone. The way servers/realms are, each one is different in every way, it’s exactly the same with Transmog etc. The higher populated your realm is, the more items available to you, competition will be high, with a lot of customers to sell to. Lower populated realms, have less items available, but bring low competition and lesser customers at your disposal. Always check your Auction House and The Undermine Journal to see how your server/realm is doing.

If you have alts, like myself, this method CAN be seen as risk free. Any items I don’t sell, will easily be used for my alts. If this is the case for you too, then you too can feel at ease that you know that the items wont go to waste.

Here’s some screenshots of some flips I’ve made…

Feel free to post in the comments below and share your success’s or if you have any questions, please ask away! Alternatively, tweet me on Twitter @GrahransWoWGold
Thanks for reading guys and I wish you all the best of luck!

What time will Legion release on the 30th?

It’s probably one of the biggest questions on many people’s lips over the last 2-3 days. “What time will Legion Launch?” Given the last 3 expansions, I think it’s fair to say, it’s likely to be 12.00am server time 30th August.

But it isn’t that straight forward, thanks to the differing time zones around the World. For instance, if you’re fortunate like myself and reside in the United Kingdom, 12 Midnight server time (EU) will actually be 11.00pm 29th August, arguably meaning, we get the game earlier…lol. Server time for EU is based on CET (France) and the UK is an hour behind.

Now I remind you, this is simply going off previous releases. If you read up, you’ll know previous expansions have been released at the same times mentioned above. If you’re waiting for a guaranteed time, keep your eyes peeled on the Warcraft website and other sites like MMO-Champion and Wowhead. These are excellent sources for information on World of Warcraft.

EDIT – WOWHEAD HAVE THIS HOUR CONFIRMED THAT WARCRAFT – LEGION WILL BE RELEASED AT 12PM CET (EU) AND 12PM (PDT) NA. SO ABOVE INFORMATION CORRECT!

Peelyon’s Updated Squirt Strategy for Legion… 25.08.16

If you’re not aware already, Peelyon has released a new video, with an updated strategy against the Garrison Menagerie daily, Squirt. With the changes to the Weebomination’s cleave it was imperative that a new strategy was created and with the collective information from members on Wowhead a solution was found. Peelyon now has a very nice strategy, that will give us a 100% success rate, but will also complete the fight a lot quicker than the previous strategy.

Remember, Squirt is only available once  every 15 days from your garrison’s Menagerie and at this time, is the best way to power level your battle pet from level 1 to 25.

If you’d like to watch this strategy and see what battle pets you need, please do watch the video below and follow the directions very carefully!

As ever, please do show your appreciation and like and subscribe to his channel for future updates and videos. Peelyon has his own stream on Twitch and also streams on behalf of IcyVeins for their new Gold Making content. Give him a follow there too and get updates on when he streams next. You’ll see me within his chat too, as I moderate for him. My alias on Twitch is Grarand.

5 Days till Legion…

So, the very long and tedious wait is almost over and the countdown for Legion is in the single digits, well… if you’re an EU player, it’s 5 days to be precise. The question on my lips is… are you prepared?! LOL

Legion Preperations
Given that my efforts in the build up to the release of Legion was to buy as much stock as possible, invest in as many cheap battle pets as I could possibly get my hands on and more importantly, level all my professions up to 700 to take advantage of new patterns and craft best in slot crafts for Legion levelling. It’s been a huge success and I’m definitely prepared! If you read my previous article “As the dust settles on the legion pre-patch” you’ll know that I’ve built up an impressive inventory worth approximately 25m gold. I will continue to build this up further, right up to the last couple of hours of Warlords of Draenor, then look to sort my inventory out, to maximise my transition to Legion. My Transmog has all been moved to an alt account, so I can buy and post auctions, whilst playing on my main account, the ability to buy WoW Tokens, has made this easy and achievable.

It’s worth noting at this point, many people without the space, will look to offload a lot of their inventory, in readiness for Legion so they have space to level and gather new materials in Legion. People like myself, who have plenty of space, thanks to Guild Banks, look to profit from the very cheap materials that people will post. If you check your Auction House, you may already noticed a big influx of cheap materials already. If I had any tips for you, it would be to buy up as much Outland materials as you possibly can! For example, Motes, Primals, Scales, Leather and Enchanting materials. Farming will die down, with the introduction of new content and some of the best Transmog crafts need these materials. Not to mention the Tomes you can craft from Enchanting.

Yet Another TCG Battle Pet Dupe Wave
Another thing you might have noticed recently, is another dupe wave of (TCG) Trading Card Game battle pets. Sadly, any hope of holding out for Legion to sell my stock, took a small hit, as the new wave gave another opportunity to others to build their inventory full of cheap TCG pets. Hopefully, those who did take up the opportunity to buy cheap pets, took the same method as myself and opted to buy through the Auction House. You may or may not be aware, but any transactions via the Auction House are protected. So if the worst possible scenario was to happen and your pets were removed, you should get a full refund of the gold spent on that purchase. This doesn’t extend to pets purchased via trade, so be very careful! Tio from @BlizzardCSEU_EN on Twitter was kind enough to reiterate its stance on refunds regarding compromised TCG battle pets/mounts purchased via the Auction House. Below is a couple of images to offer some confidence.

Replica Transmog
Thankfully, another thing I’ve noticed, is a drop in competition for Replica Transmog gear on my realm. This was maybe due to a new set of recipes that were made available for Scribes within the Darkmoon Faire. These cost a fair amount of tokens, thus meaning people averted their attention from buying Replica gear to purchasing these recipes. These recipes were released prior to Legion, so many wanted a head-start. The release of the new Transmog System and low competition had a massive effect on my sales, as they increased hugely over the last 2-3 weeks.

Replica sales last 30 days

Blizzard Getting DDOS Again…
Again, thanks to the world of Twitter, I’ve been made aware that again Blizzard have succumb to more DDOS attacks, which if your memory serves you well, you’ll remember it was one of the major incidents to affect the first day of the release of Warlords of Draenor. Here’s hoping that Blizzard hurry and fix these recent issues and also prevent another fiasco on the release of Legion. It’s fair to say, Blizzard lost a lot of confidence from its returning players that day, and that’s not even mentioning the word Garrisons…lol.

Power Levelling Via Legion Invasions
And last, but not least Legion Invasions… If you have alts that you fancy power levelling up before Legion, I’d suggest you get involved in this now, before it’s too late! As long as your alt is level 10 or higher, it can take part. Simply open your map (M) go to an area that is highlighted as being invaded and complete stage 1 and 2. Once Stage 3 starts, simply log out fully (you’ll see a 20 second countdown) and log back in. This will take you back to stage 1 and simply rinse and repeat. You will only get a reward once per invasion, but the sole purpose of this, isn’t the rewards, it’s the extremely high XP you gain from killing the mobs and completing the stages. Be sure to know that the mobs scale to your level, but be very vigilant, pull too many on your own and you could find yourself ressing a lot. Try and get some XP potions and Heirlooms as they help, but not important!

A helpful addon; LegionInvasionTimer
This is an excellent addon, shows you where the invasions are taking place and how long left before they reset.

Okay, one more thing… Just a reminder, that due to Legion incoming, I wont be here a great deal, but please do follow me on Twitter to get regular updates and see what I’m buying and selling. I’m also available for questions too, rest assured, if I don’t have the answer, I’ll know someone who will.

Thanks for reading guys and stopping by, until next time… Goodbye  🙂

As The Dust settles on the Legion Pre Patch

Well, were finally approaching the end of another week of the new Legion Pre-Patch and things are finally starting to settle down and think it’s fair to say we’re slowly getting accustomed to our new class changes, the loss of stats and the very sad changes to Serverhop or Cross Realm Assist. Well… if you were an avid open world farmer, it’s not all lost, as you’ll find out later on…

My Pre-Legion Hoarding Update:
When an expansion comes to an end, it’s a great time to get yourself prepared for the new expansion and as a gold goblin, attempt to profit from those, that weren’t fortunate enough to follow suit. I’ve been extremely busy the last couple of weeks and can happily say I’m ready for Legion. At the end of May, my liquid gold was at approximately 3.2 million. I think I’ve invested all my gold wisely, but the full results wont be clear until I sell my stock. According to TradeSkillMaster my approximate value of my inventory currently stands at – 25.7m.

TSM total inventory

Now, I’m fully aware that this total can be manipulated by the ‘value price source’ that’s input. So let me reassure you all by clarifying my custom price source below.

avg(DBRegionMarketAvg, DBGlobalMarketAvg, TUJGlobalMedian, DBRegionHistorical, DBGlobalHistorical)

You’ll clearly see that I haven’t got DBMarket as this can be heavily manipulated from clever goblins on your server, so I don’t use this! My price string is influenced by average Region and Global prices, to give me a very good average price source. This custom price source was slightly edited from that of Mankind’s, if you haven’t seen his TSM video’s, click HERE. They are exceptional videos, that help you understand everything to do with TSM so check them out!

A great deal of my gold is also tied up with level 25 Battle Pets (mostly very rare TCG or holiday pets) which is where we get into the unknown, as no one at this point really knows how the Squirt daily will be affected in Legion. If the Squirt daily is affected by legion we will likely see a rise in demand of level 25 pets. This is a calculated assumption that level 25 pets will be in high demand, so I’ve carefully stocked up on those that I feel will net me the most profit! I have an image below of my most sought after battle pets, this is just a little taste of what I have on my Battle Pet collector.

Battle Pets for Legion

I will be looking to sell the MoP rare Battle Pets asap, as MoP raids will become easier, thanks to Legion. Although these pets are currently hard to obtain due to their low drop rates, the supply will rise as more people clear that content.

If you want to see updates on what I’m selling or stocking up for Legion, be sure to get updates as they happen, via my Twitter and Facebook. I’m also happy to answer any questions you may have. If I don’t have the answer, I’m sure I may know someone who will.

ServerHop or CrossrealmAssist nerf:
Sadly there were adjustments, or nerfs to the much loved ServerHop or CrossRealmAssist, which to some extent, brought new beginnings. Whether these were intended or not are another matter, but thankfully if you use these addons to farm in open world, you’ll be relieved to know it’s still beneficial to use them. The devs changed it, so that if you were joining a group, that you had to be within the vicinity of the leader, to successfully join a player on a different realm. With this change, bought the ability to ‘hyper spawn’ mobs. If you were in a 5 man group and carefully positioned, this meant that the mobs were instantly spawning as soon as you killed and looted them.

The materials on the Auction House, for example  Volatile Water,  Primal Fire have crashed, due to the amount that people are successfully farming up. The biggest success so far is the frog farm on the Timeless Isle. With  Sha Crystal so hard to come by, there’s an absolute mint to be made here… and don’t ignore the whelpling farms.

Supreme Lord Kazzak:
For quite a bit of time now, I stopped doing the Kazzak weekly kill, but it’s came to my attention, that it’s worthwhile again. Not only do you have the chance to loot double the  Felblight  than what you got before pre patch, but you can also loot ilvl 720 gear now, with the chance to get upgraded to Warforged or even Titanforged. I have a number of alts and this has given me the incentive to get them geared before Legion.

** It’s important to know, that Blizzard have prevent players below level 100 to get loot from a Kazzak kill. **

Squirt Menagerie Daily Nerfed:
As Peelyon expected, the Squirt daily got nerfed and our beloved Weebomination is no longer of any use to us, well in the circumstances that we want to cleave the mobs and thus complete the battle as quick as possible. So this means we need a workaround. Thankfully Peelyon and a user on Wowhead (Robotusch) have a solution. To view this new strategy, please follow this link.

If you’re not aware of Peelyon (still) be sure to check him out at Twitch. Has a wealth of knowledge on Battle pets and gold making and also writes on behalf of IcyVeins for their new gold making forum. You can also catch me in his chat AKA Grarand. Although I’m a poor Moderator, I’ll do my best to answer any questions you have in a bid to assist Peelyon.

Anyway, that’s enough of me rambling on for now… don’t forget guys, 18th (US) or 19th (EU) for release of Demon Hunter’s, I shan’t be jumping on straight away, I’m expecting issues and will happily watch on and continue to post auctions…lol.

Good luck and thanks for reading!
