Fortnightly Sales Report – 13th March
This fortnightly reset has been very busy on the gold-making front, hence the sales report’s slight delay. With the Darkmoon Faire, Outland Timewalking, and Noblegarden, there have been many opportunities to invest my gold in many different markets.
I created a post regarding the event, Noblegarden, and the brief collapse of the Swift Springstriders, which came to fruition on most of my realms. I purchased some mounts where the value dictated. Hopefully, you got in on the act too. Remember, you want to start posting these in a couple of weeks/months when the market stabilizes. The event introduced more mounts meaning the supply significantly outnumbered the demand, driving the mounts valuation down. The valuation will return to normal once the supply falls in line with the demand.
For clarification as to why I only post fortnightly, please check this article for further information.
TSM Ledger For 30th April to 13th March:

As expected, I’ve made a loss this fortnight due to purchasing cheap mounts and other bargains within other markets. I made 4,3m gold in sales, notably flipping, Exotic Leather, a Pattern: Shifting Cloak, 61x Medallion of the Legion, and a selection of mounts. I’ve added screenshots below outlining a selection of my sales, categorized where possible.
I spent just over 4,3m gold, investing in 204x Medallion of the Legion, Battle Pets, Legion BoEs, Island Expedition Transmog, Raw Materials, and of course, Swift Springstriders. There were a lot more purchases, but these were the primary investments.
My Sales:

This fortnight proved to be another great result on the Island Expedition Transmog front. Investing in late BFA on the Stinkrot Smasher’s is proving to be rewarding. I was buying these for between 15-35k before the release of Shadowlands.

I remember in Legion when you couldn’t sell Cyno’s Mantle of Sin for love, nor money, and now they’re flying off the shelves – well, this fortnight anyway. Another good fortnight of Legion BoEs sales!

I won’t lie; I was disappointed in this fortnight sales return, and rightfully so. It’s hard to gauge why, but it could be the lure of other content; if it is the case, there should be an improvement next fortnight. If not, there could be competition undercutting me, preventing sales.
Recipes:

There was a standout sale this fortnight, the sale of the Pattern: Shifting Cloak for 300k. There were some more minor sales, showing that there’s still value in operating in this market.

If you saw my tweet on Twitter during the week, you’d have seen the mailbox I opened with a substantial amount of Replica Transmog sold on one realm. Believe it or not, but you can get many sales towards the end of the Darkmoon Faire as players check the Auction House for missing items to complete their set.
At the time of posting this article (15/04/21), I had 1,144 visitors this month, of which 172 visitors read my article on Replica Transmog. To explain the significance of this number and how popular this market has become, I had 2,873 visitors last month, of which only 10 visitors read my Replica Transmog article. As this market increases in popularity so will competition, looking for that sale, be sure to adjust your valuations accordingly.

It’s been a while since I’ve seen this many Battle Pet sales. Remember, these are just the best sales. The image(s) would have been too large had I added them all.
Selected Sales:

I managed to sell a considerable amount of Exotic Leather, Golden Lotus, and Spirit of Harmony. I took advantage of these materials when developers nerfed The Golden Stair farm in the Vale of Eternal Blossoms. As players slowly move away from the content from the final patch of BFA, the amount of materials gathered from Pandaria slowly falls, and the demand increases, increasing their valuations. The sales above illustrate the rise in MoP raw materials demand and valuation.
It was also another good fortnight selling 61x Medallion of the Legion for 255k. I also sold a Teebu’s Scorching Straight Sword, many mounts, including Reins of the Crimson Deathcharger, Goldenmaine’s Reins, and a Tome of Polymorph: Polar Bear.
If you’ve read this sales report today and some categories have sparked some interest, be sure to check out the links to be directed to my guides. I post auctions once a fortnight and don’t cancel or repost, so if I can make these sales over a fortnight, imagine what you can achieve if you have more time to post regularly or cancel and repost.
