Reset Instance Macro

Reset Instance Macro:

This Reset Instance Macro will improve your efficiency when farming Dungeons and Raids. I’m sure we’ve all been there, you clear a Dungeon (Uldum) or Raid, and have to complete that tedious right-click of your portrait or player frame to reset the instance! Thankfully, with this handy little macro, you can cut down all that time, and concentrate on getting back into the instance and continue your farming.

Creating the Macro:

Open your Macro Tab in-game, by entering in the chat bar /m or /macro

Please create a new macro, I like to use the name ‘Reset Instance’. Then add whatever icon you wish, that will help you quickly pick it out from your action bar and add the following script to it.

/script ResetInstances();

Once you’ve input the script, save it. Add the new macro icon to your action bar and viola; you’re good to go! Run an instance or clear the trash, exit, and click on the macro to promptly reset it, and re-enter. Rinse and repeat till your heart’s content.

Reset Instance Macro Guide:

I’ve created a short clip on YouTube for those that would prefer me to show you how to set this macro up. If you found this video helpful, please consider liking and subscribing for future content. It’s much appreciated!

Instance Limitations:

Please remember in World of Warcraft; there is a ten instance limit per hour, if you exceed this, your instance will not reset until this cooldown has passed.
