Blizzard’s Black Friday Sales

Blizzard’s Black Friday Sales
If you’ve been hiding under a rock for the last couple of days, you may have missed the news that Blizzard have started their Black Friday Sales. A lot of their products are on sale, however it appears that there’s no sales on their World of Warcraft character services, which is a shame!

Level 100 Character Boost trick
If you’re like myself and have been holding off for another account , Pets/Mounts from the store or maybe another level 100 character boost, then these deals are for you! Instead of paying the £60 for a level 100 character boost, simply buy another copy of Legion & Battle chest and use the free character boost on a character on your main account. Then let the new account expire, leaving your character boost on your main account.

RAF (Refer a Friend)
You can go a little further and RAF (refer a friend) yourself. A great video showing how to below! Currently the wowtoken is at 300k on EU… you can purchase your new account, get one Month’s free game-time and on top of that get a free Month on your main account for the referral. This is what I did and the benefits are awesome.

Dual-Boxing/Multi-Boxing
Before today, I had 3 accounts, I now have 5! I’m looking at making myself a 5 man dual-boxing/multi-boxing team. I already have Isboxer, which is a fantastic piece of software, which sends keystrokes to multiple game clients at any one time. This is completely legitimate and doesn’t break any of Blizzards ToS. If this interests you and you’d like to try out Isboxer too, then please take advantage of their 7 day trial and also consider using my referral code and get a further 15 days free if you decide on purchasing a subscription.

Destiny 2 & Overwatch
The Black Friday Sales
also include Blizzard’s, Destiny 2 and Overwatch! If you’ve been waiting on these sales, then don’t hang around, get involved and take advantage of these great deals before it ends. I wasn’t too fussed on both of these titles, but with these sales, it’s made it a little sweeter to try them out.

Next Week’s Sales & Catch UP!
With respect to purchasing my new accounts and trying to set everything up, my Sales and Catch Up, will be postponed next Monday. This is so I can concentrate on sorting everything out asap. I will return the following Monday (07.12.17). Gold Making will be at a minimum, so you won’t miss much (or is that, I miss much!?) LOL.

Take care and happy hunting in the sales!

Week Four Sales & Catch Up!

Welcome to my fourth installment, looking back on my sales and activity from the previous week; week ending 20.11.17. It’s been a very start & stop week to be fair; finished decorating my daughter’s bedroom on Friday and celebrated her 15th Birthday Saturday. This mean’t I missed posting auctions on Friday night through to Saturday afternoon, but I’m not too concerned. However, I think I managed very well considering.

This weeks stats:

Last weeks total: 90.5m
Gold Balance prior to opening mail: 83.6m
Total invested: 6.9m

Catch Up

For the last 2 weeks, I’ve been planning on transferring 2 alts to my main realm and this week, I finally completed the Guild transfers. Sadly, they only successfully moved on Saturday evening (taking advantage of the time away from game) meaning I only got one, possibly two days of auctions. However, I didn’t let this deter me, I’ve invested approximately 3-4m gold worth of items at approximately 25-50%  value of the destination realm, so i could at minimum, double my investment; which would later pay for the Guild transfers themselves.

If you’re planning on doing a transfer and interested in doing the same method, please do take advantage of The Undermine Journal. This is a fantastic site, that gives you the opportunity to search for items and compare prices from one realm to another. The items I look for, are items I can buy at maximum 50% the value of my destination realm. So great investments are current expansion materials (i.e. ore, herbs, cooking ingredients and profession reagents). Also worth noting, Toys, Mounts, Transmog, Legion BoEs & Battle Pets (must cage before transferring realm!)

I’ve also continued with my investments on the profession front. Antorus is only a week away and my guild banks are bulging with Enchants, Food and consumables. I’ve managed to purchase some very nice cheap Legion BoEs (Leech) too, but my aim from today, is to slowly reduce investing in this market. I don’t want a repeat of WoD and being left with a lot of BoEs that are worthless come the new expansion. This is solely based on my inventory, not an boasting, but it’s huge and it needs to be reduced! So unless I see an incredible bargain too good to refuse, my purchases within the Legion BoE market will dramatically stop!

Had to buy another 3x WoWTokens @285k each, due to gold cap reached again on an alt.

Sales

Here’s a selection of my sales. As you can see, I’ve managed to sell a lot of high ilvl Legion BoEs this week, averaging the 500k mark for each.

This slideshow requires JavaScript.

All that’s left to show, is my totals for each account…

Had I not needed to buy the 3 WoWTokens, I’d have surpassed the 100m gold mark this week. But I can happily wait till next week.

Totals:

End of week sales total: 99.4m
End of week profit total: 15.8m

Battle Pet Import String Update

My Pastebin has recently been updated to reflect the emergence of Naxxy, the new battle pet from Hallow’s End. If you’ve already got my group imported already, there’s a quick solution. Here’s a detailed walk-through to help import these 2 ID’s and keep the groups formatted properly.

ID Import Walk-Through

new battle pet update for blog

If you’ve not imported my battle pet profile before, check out this blog post for a full walk-through and installation.

Sheyrah’s Profile
Alternatively, if you prefer an easier to manage battle pet import string, may I recommend Sheyrah‘s import string from her pastebin which have shopping operations etc. Its a lot easier to manage and more importantly, you can change each pets shopping and auction price settings to your specification.

She’s a great goldmaker and has a lot of guides on YouTube including how to import her complete TSM import profile. She also has a Twitch channel. If you have any questions regarding any part of her profile, don’t hesitate to ask her, as she’s always willing to offer help & advice.

Thanks for reading, any advice/feedback greatly appreciated.

World of Warcraft Classic & Battle for Azeroth Confirmed!!

Yes…! Blizzard has finally answered the communities desires and have released information regarding World of Warcraft Classic. Blizzard authentic Vanilla servers are finally coming (BACK)! For those that were around in Vanilla, this was excellent news for them for nostalgic purposes. For myself, (who only started playing WoW in later WotLK), this is an opportunity to finally get to experience what Vanilla was like… legitimately!

No confirmation on how Blizzard will create the Classic servers, (i.e. full Vanilla or Vanilla with some of the tweaks through the later expansions). I’m hoping for no heirlooms, no Dungeon finder/LFR and more importantly as a gold maker, proper grinding for gold. Gold was a hard commodity to come across in Vanilla, well, it appeared so, watching a lot of the classic footage on YouTube and I’m looking forward to experiencing that when Classic becomes available to us. At the time of this blog, no time frame was set for release, maybe that will be determined upon Blizzard getting the blades back, they auctioned off… LOL

Here’s the cinematic if you’ve missed it!

As anticipated throughout today, the new expansion World of Warcraft – Battle for Azeroth has now been confirmed! So far we’ve been informed of the new Artifact Medallion (The Heart of Azeroth), return of World PvP and obviously, the new grind to level 120! These are only some of the things mentioned, there’s a lot more information within the video below! I think it’s fair to say, a lot of the community have been yearning for World PvP, I just hope they get it right. PvP as of late has been disastrous, I’d love them to revert back to dedicated PvP gear/stats, and continue to improve the balance between all the classes as fair as possible, it will be a massive improvement if they do.

Fair to say, Bajheera and Swifty are licking their lips with anticipation… 😀

If you’ve not seen the cinematic, then I’ve added a link below, check it out!

It’s early into the night for myself, but I can’t wait for the World of Warcraft – what’s Next panel, happening in the next 45 mins. No doubt a lot of information regarding the above and an  lot more insight into the new expansion. I so can’t wait, it’s fair to say I’m like a kid in a candy store… 😛

Until next time, thanks for reading! For the Horde!

World of Warcraft’s New Expansion Leaked (Spoilers inside)

The internet’s gone crazy today, as it appears Blizzard have submitted a new trade mark in New Zealand, POSSIBLY for their new expansion; World of Warcraft – Battle of Azeroth. Many people are guessing it’s the new expansion, some think due to the New Zealand connection, maybe it’s the next part of the Warcraft movie… only time will tell!

A copy of the submission below:

new wow expansion

It’s important to remember, that this hasn’t been confirmed yet, this has only been found online and things will become more evident in the coming hours, with the start of BlizzCon. Thankfully I have my virtual ticket, so here’s hoping they release some info on the new expansion at 8pm GMT tonight!

Damn I’m really looking forward to this now…

The Legion 101 BoE Dilemma

I’m sure a lot of you have noticed that a lot of players have taken a break from World of Warcraft. You can see this via the realm selection page upon logging in. This could be a magnitude of different things, mainly, waiting for 7.2 and the influx of big game titles recently released. But with that drop in players, come the joy of lack of competition on the Auction House and sadly, more importantly, a lack of customers willing to part their gold, for your items. That being said, I think it’s fair to say, there’s a dilemma at the moment, whether Legion 101 BoEs will continue to be as profitable as before.

No known release date has been set for 7.2 yet, but with any new patch, comes new content, via (World) Quests, Dungeons and Raids. This in-turn, brings another increase in the ilvl. With respect to Legion BoEs I think the current highest ilvl is currently at 880. With the new content, we could see an 885 or higher item. With this, it COULD bring the prices down. This is currently evident with Legion 110 BoEs, where people are only buying up 900+ ilvl BoEs, with items below 900 dropping dramatically. It’s important to remember that there’s more versatility in the 101 BoEs market and will likely hold a little more value, but it’s hard to imagine how much value. This is the dilemma, of knowing whether or not to invest.

What I’ve been doing as of late, is playing it extremely safe. If i see an item, very cheap, I’ll buy it up, but paying a lot more attention to the amount of that item currently on the AH. No point buying something, if you cant make a profit, more importantly, there’s no point buying it, if there’s another 5 (of the same ilvl) on the AH and you don’t have the intention to buy out your competition. If you read my previous blog, you’ll know I’ve been buying items at 50% value, knowing i can double my gold, now I’m looking at buying at 25% to minimize the risk.

I know a lot of you through Twitter, are playing the 101 BoE market and are having a lot of success through it, which is awesome! but I hope you can take something from this blog and be very cautious. I currently have a lot of 101 BoEs spread around different realms and it’s hard to imagine, that if there was a crash, how bad it would affect me. I’m sure it will have a larger affect on you guys than myself, but posting this blog, may offer a little warning.

On the upside and I’m thinking relatively optimistic here, 7.2 may bring a lot of players back wanting to level their alts, thanks to flying. If this is the case, the 101 BoE market may actually thrive, thus items holding their value or greater. The first couple of weeks into 7.2, should give us a good indication, on where we’re at.

Now do you see why this is a dilemma?  Roll on 7.2!

If you’ve been under a rock since Legion dropped and don’t have any idea about Legion 101 BoEs, then check out my blog or check out my sales on Twitter under #LegionBoEs

Flipping Upgraded Legion BoEs (level 101+) ilvl 835-870

Today I want to share with you, the amazing sales you can achieve by selling/flipping Legion BoEs. I’ve been doing this since the release of Legion and I’ve made millions from flipping them on the Auction House. Don’t threat, it’s still worthwhile doing today, but always bare in mind the size of your realm and it’s economy, as each realm differs in prices etc…

So what are Legion BoEs? These are Bind on Equip items, that you can equip from as low as level 101 and you can loot them from mobs you’ve killed. At the moment, these BoEs start at ilvl 810, but the upgraded ones, the ones we want, start from ilvl 835 and go as high as ilvl 870 (7.1) So for example, you could easily deck yourself out in ilvl 870 at level 101 if you were fortunate enough to get enough of the items. It’s important to remind you at this point, to be extremely careful when purchasing these, as you can easily purchase the level restricted items… which to be honest, are of no benefit for this strategy.

To give you an idea on how strong this is, imagine that when you hit level 110 in 7.0, the ilvl you were aiming for, was ilvl 850. Now,  imagine being able to hit ilvl 850 at level 101! The term overpowered comes to mind, right? Well… you’d be 100% correct. It’s this reason, which makes this gear so appealing. It gives us the ability to power level our mains or alts. Okay, it may come at a cost to do this, but don’t be deterred, there’s a lot of people out there willing to shell out a lot of gold, to level their characters as quick as possible.

Below is a list of the items, you can buy, or loot. You’ll also see, that I’ve added a max purchase price and an average sale price. This is just a guide at what I look to pay and sell items for, your prices may differ due to the different server economies…

legion-boes-image

If you wish to search these items on the Auction House, there’s a number of different ways to do so. You can do a search and input the following: /101/101/i835/armor This will search all the items following that criteria. I don’t have a TSM import string, as TSM doesn’t recognise the different ilvls. Or simply search each item individually.

I suppose there’s only one way to prove how worthwhile this is, so I better show a collection of my screenshots that I’ve taken from my recent sales.

As I always stress, if you wish to keep up to date on what I’m buying and selling, follow me on Twitter, I post a lot of sales and always answer any questions that come my way. Alternatively, you can find me on Facebook too. But… if that’s not enough, you can also find me, helping out in Peelyon’s stream on Twitch, where I will answer any questions in chat.

I hope you give this a go guys, let me know how you get on. Good luck and again, I wish a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year! Stay safe!

Patch 7.1 Return to Karazhan Release Date

Patch 7.1 Return to Karazhan is live on October 25th!

I’m not sure about you, but when developers were insistent they would offer more content frequently, I honestly didn’t think it would be this frequent, or to the point…. too soon!

Nevertheless, it’s time to get ready I suppose. If you wish to read up on more of the live Q&A from Game Director Ion Hazzikostas and more information on the patch, click the link HERE to be re-directed to Wowhead.

Time to start re-evaluating our stock ready for patch day!

Legion & Sales Update

We’re well into the second month of World of Warcraft‘s LegionLogo_lessglow
new expansion Legion and the early signs on social media and individual press releases, suggest this is the best selling expansion since Cataclysm, as subscriptions soar up to *10.1 million. The fact that the subscriptions haven’t tailed off yet, can only mean, that the advice the community gave developers has well and truly paid off! It might be too early to get too excited, but the signs do look very reassuring and probably prove, that Warcraft isn’t dead after all… Be prepared, as there’s another influx of new players as of today, with the release of Warcraft – The Beginning available on DvD.

On the gold making front, this has been by far the best start to an expansion I’ve experienced. Not only have I been prepared, but I think I’ve taken full advantage of a lot of players, that still hold a lot of gold, from Warlords of Garrisons…lol. I’ve managed to get myself into a lot of different markets too, which has reflected in the gold I’ve made to date. For me, Cooking, Leatherworking and Enchanting have been the best professions so far in this expansion, but an honourable mention to Jewelcrafting and Alchemy, thanks to the resurgence of prospect shuffling and the ability to obliterate. Sadly, the value in obliterating had subsided, but it was excellent whilst it lasted. However, it may make a decent return in 7.1, depending on how the developers manage crafted gear. Early reports suggest that developers are looking into adding another obliterum upgrade, but I very much doubt this will be enough to get the prices back up.

Old World crafts have been a massive profit too, especially within Enchanting & Leatherworking. The amount of Mists of Pandaria crafts I’ve made and sold is incredible. It’s fair to say Transmog has really taken off this expansion, thanks to the new Transmog Wardrobe. As well as MoP crafts, I’ve also made an absolute killing on the Replica market too! I’ve managed to sell on average 7 Replica items per week, which is a massive improvement from pre-Legion sales.

If I have one tip for you, get out and farm! Yes… FARM! There’s so much gold to be made from farming ore and herbs in Legion. Everyone needs materials for crafts, and consumables for raiding and at the beginning of every expansion/patch, materials are in high demand and can fetch a heavy price tag. So if you have a Herbalist or a Miner, go and farm till you hearts content and make an >insert expletive here< amount of gold…lol.

You’ll also notice from my previous blog, that, Ive been in the Legion BoE market too! This has been incredible to say the least! To be honest, I hardly got into this market, at the beginning of WoD, but I’m truly made up, that I took the big step into this market so early this time around. I’ve been doubling my investment on every item I’ve purchased and even started flipping the ilvl 850+. At the beginning of every expansion, there’s a lot of demand for BoE epics, due to the stats and ilvl they offer. This helps make levelling easier and quicker and also helps enter ilvl restricted Dungeons and raids. If you’re looking to level an alt etc, check your Auction House for these items, they’re an excellent addition to your gear if purchased at the right price!

To finish off, I’ve managed to endure the hard task of logging in to all of my alts, to get an update of my Total Gold Earned and I’ve added a couple of screenshots below. Please bare in mind, I play on 2 wow accounts, so added and labelled both. To date, my total gold earned is 58,585,540g

If you’re not aware of the addon Total Gold Earned, it’s an addon that adds all the gold earned from the Auction House on all your characters. This information is made available from your achievements. Simply log into the character you wish, enter /tge in chat to bring up the addon up in-game and it will automatically check your achievements and add your gold earned to the addon. Once you’ve logged in to all of your characters, you’ll have a grand total and voila, that is your total gold earned. Gold obtained via trades, are not included!

Thanks for reading guys and good luck!

Legion BoE’s

If you were a playing during Warlords of Draenor, LegionLogo_lessglow
you will be familiar with the crafted levelling gear you could equip at level 91 which boosted your ilevel and stats, these boosted your ability to kill mobs and speed up your levelling or assisted you in gaining entry to ilevel restricted dungeons etc. Sadly these were unique equipped items, meaning there was a restriction of 3 items which you could equip at any given time.

Thankfully this time around in Legion, the restrictions have been removed, but the BoE items are no longer crafted, but are available from random drops. The items of interest, will be the items that are available to level 101 characters and have an ilevel of 835 and above. These cost a very pretty penny as they will be of interest to mains (Mythics/Raiding), alts (levelling) and the new twink bracket (PvP) for Legion.

When I levelled my main, I was very fortunate to loot and sell Fran’s Intractable Loop ilevel 850, which I was able to sell for 100k (90k after AH cut). The ring was of no interest to me as I already had a better ring stat wise equipped, but with that said, the 90k helped me buy materials to assist me power levelling my professions etc.

for-blog-1

Now I wouldn’t recommend farming these items, due to how low the drop rate is, and sadly, there’s no way you can guarantee getting the item you want, as it’s completely random! So the best scenario we have, is using the gold we’ve successfully built and invest it in cheap Legion BoE’s posted onto the Auction House.

If you use TSM, you can use this string to shop. Simply copy and paste the string below in your search box and hit enter.

/101/101/i835/armor

What this will do, is search the Auction House and narrow down, all the items that are available to a character at level 101, then will narrow the search down further, by showing all the items that have an ilevel of 835 and above. All these items will be within the armor category too. Remember to save and rename the search, so you can search for BoE’s on a regular basis!

Once your search is complete, hit the ilevel column header to put all the items in order of their ilevel. This will make it far more easier to differentiate between each ilevel and prevent miss-clicking and over purchasing items of a lower ilevel. You can limit this further, by adding another /i835 within the above string and this will just show ilevel 835 items. Simply change it to i850 if you wish to just search for ilvl 850 items.

I’ve been buying up a lot of cheap BoE’s off the Auction House to flip. Below is an example of the prices I’ve been buying at and the minimum I’ve been flipping for. This isn’t a guide for what you should buy and sell at, as each server/realm is different.

for-blog

Some things to consider, always opt for items with good stats. for example, rings only have Stamina so check for good secondary stats and a bonus stat, this could boost value for your item. Also have consideration for items with Prismatic sockets, these give players the option to add a gem to the item, these will also increase value to the item.

Although this has been very profitable for me, it doesn’t guarantee to be profitable for everyone. The way servers/realms are, each one is different in every way, it’s exactly the same with Transmog etc. The higher populated your realm is, the more items available to you, competition will be high, with a lot of customers to sell to. Lower populated realms, have less items available, but bring low competition and lesser customers at your disposal. Always check your Auction House and The Undermine Journal to see how your server/realm is doing.

If you have alts, like myself, this method CAN be seen as risk free. Any items I don’t sell, will easily be used for my alts. If this is the case for you too, then you too can feel at ease that you know that the items wont go to waste.

Here’s some screenshots of some flips I’ve made…
