Fantasy Premier League (FPL)

The Final Day:

So the season has finally come to an end, after an exhilarating 38 matchdays. I was disappointed with Liverpool; had they gone ahead earlier against Wolves, they’d have put a lot of pressure on City. However, City overturning a two-goal deficit to a decent Villa side, winning 3-2 to win the league, screamed nightmares of 2012.

Liverpool still has the task of visiting Paris and playing Real Madrid in the final of the Champions League, so a possible treble is on the cards. Still a great season for both clubs, and a lot of work for the chasing pack to do in pre-season to catch up next season.

Fantasy Premier League:

Today, Fantasy Premier League revealed Jamie Pigott – ‘Futbol is Life’ with 2,844 points as the FPL Champion, more than 600 points more than me.

He’s won the following prizes;

  • 7-night break in the UK including VIP hospitality at two 2022/23 Premier League matches
  • A week’s worth of experiences at popular tourist attractions courtesy of Visit Britain
  • Includes travel and 7 nights’ accommodation
  • Hublot connected watch
  • Copy of FIFA 22 and a games console
  • Nike manager jacket
  • FPL goody bag consisting of a rucksack, t-shirt, mug, water bottle, stress ball, pen, pad, and key ring

My Mini-League:

Some of you know that I created a mini-league this season to bring my readers together and have some fun. It’s been a very competitive mini-league throughout, and to think the mini-league winner finished the season almost 200 points off the outright FPL Champion Jamie Piggot; an outstanding effort by Gulshan Jain!

So as promised last July, I have three prizes available for the players that finished 1st, 2nd, and 3rd in my mini-league. Thankfully all three players registered correctly with their email addresses!

  • 1st prize is a £50 Amazon e-gift card.
  • 2nd prize is a £30 Amazon e-gift card.
  • 3rd prize is a £20 Amazon e-gift card.

These prizes should be within the email you registered with by the time of this blog publishing (23.05.22). To redeem your e-gift, follow any directions within the email and apply the gift to your account.

If you encounter any issues or delays, please contact me immediately, and I will look into the matter. Any issues regarding the use of the e-gift, please get in touch with Amazon Support for help and advice.
